Food Franchises Deck the Halls with Festive Promotions, Special Menu Items and Merchandise
The 2023 holiday season is in full swing at fast-food franchises. With Thanksgiving and Black Friday behind us, restaurants have been noticeably jolly. Dessert franchisors like Cinnaholic and coffee giants like Starbucks wasted no time releasing winter-inspired menus as early as November 1, turning their attention from the autumnal pumpkin trend to more festive flavors like peppermint.
To end the year on a high note, food franchisors are enticing guests with fun deals and menu items to make the 2023 holiday season merry and bright. Check out the festive compilation below.
Holiday 2023 Fast-Food Restaurant Specials and Gift Card Deals
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings added new menu options to deck the halls for the 2023 holiday season: Chicken Alfredo and Artichoke Pizza, Anthony’s Fettuccine Alfredo, and Spaghetti and Meatballs. Through November 30, the pizza franchisor is allowing guests who buy a $100 Gift Card to get a $40 Holiday Bonus Card. They can also earn a $25 Holiday Bonus Card if they purchase a $100 Gift Card from December 1 – 26. Bonus Cards are redeemable between January 2 – March 31, 2024.
Bad Daddy’s
Through December 31 at Bad Daddy’s, guests can buy a $35 gift card and get $5 in bonus bucks. For every $50 gift card sold, guests get $10 in bonus bucks.
Beyond Juicery + Eatery
Beyond Juicery + Eatery is making the season merry and bright with new 2023 holiday menu items. Options on the seasonal menu include the Cookie Butter Smoothie, Peppermint Mocha Chip Smoothie, Creamy Tomato Soup, and Toasted Grilled Cheese.
Big Chicken
This holiday season, Big Chicken is allowing customers to score big like Shaquille O’Neal with a gift card deal. When you buy one of the brand’s gift cards for $50, you get a free sandwich that same visit or a $10 bonus card. Depending on the location, these bonus cards are valid through February 28, 2024.
BurgerFi
BurgerFi released the White Chocolate Peppermint Shake and new food items, including jumbo chicken wings and four BurgerFi Bowls to celebrate the 2023 holiday season. Additionally, the burger franchise has a gift card deal. For every $25 spent on eGift cards, customers get a $5 Bonus eCard. The bonus cards are valid for in-restaurant, online, and app orders.
Chick-fil-A
In honor of the 2023 holiday season, Chick-fil-A is adding three peppermint-flavored drinks. In addition to the fan-favorite Peppermint Chip Milkshake, the fast-food giant is introducing the new Peppermint Iced Coffee and Frosted Peppermint Chip Coffee.
Chicken Salad Chick
Chicken Salad Chick is spicing up the holiday season with a limited-time flavor – Deck the Holly (above). This item blends sweet and savory as the Jalapeno Holly chicken salad gets a festive makeover with the addition of cranberries. Deck the Holly can be enjoyed as a scoop, sandwich or a Chick Melt and pairs well with the chicken franchise’s Chicken Poblano Soup.
Cinnabon
Iced drinks never go out of style, even when it’s cold at Cinnabon. This holiday season, you can enjoy the Peppermint Mocha Cold Brew and Red Velvet Mocha Cold Brew.
Cinnaholic
The moment Halloween was over, Cinnaholic launched its holiday 2023 menu. With festive options like the Wreath Cake, Chocolate Peppermint Cookies, Gingerbread House Roll, and Santa’s Milk and Cookies, it will be impossible not to get into the holiday spirit. The vegan-, dairy- and egg-free items are available through December 31.
Dapper Doughnut
The 2023 holiday season just got sweeter at the Dapper Doughnut franchise. Items on the doughnut brand’s holiday menu include the White Chocolate Matcha, Peppermint Mocha, and Oat Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte as well as Peppermint Mocha, Hot Cocoa, and Cinnamon Bun doughnuts.
Dunkin’
To ring in the 2023 holiday season, Dunkin’ is bringing back fan favorites like the Cookie Butter Cold Brew and introducing new festive options like Spiced Cookie Coffee. Guests can also enjoy the return of the Peppermint Mocha Signature Latte and Toasted White Chocolate Signature, and in terms of sweet eats, there is the Triple Chocolate Muffin and the Holiday Sprinkle takeover for classic Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry frosted doughnuts.
Eggs Up Grill
Eggs Up Grill, a breakfast, brunch and lunch franchise, believes its customers have been good this year and released the “Nice List” of holiday specials. Through the end of 2023, guests can enjoy the breakfast concept’s Christmas Cookie Pancakes, Crème Brulée French Toast (above), Peppermint Mocha Coffee, and Apple Cider Mimosa. You can also enjoy the Egg Buck bonus for gift card purchases through Dec. 31. For every $25 in gift card purchases both in-restaurant or online, guests receive a $5 Egg Buck.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
To spice up the holidays, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has a gift card deal. When guests purchase $25 in gift cards, they receive a $5 bonus card. The bonus card is valid from December 1-31, 2024.
Gigi’s Cupcakes
Through December 24, Gigi’s Cupcakes is bringing back its Jingle Box, and the New Year’s Box (above) can be enjoyed from December 26-31. The Jingle Box features a dozen mini cupcakes including three reindeer, three trees, three Winter Wonderland, and three snowmen. To ring in 2024 with a bang, the New Year’s Box includes six champagne and six top hat mini cupcakes. Flavors like Wedding Cake, Snickerdoodle, Lemon Dream, Scarlet’s Red Velvet, Cookies N’ Cream, Strawberry Shortcake, Southern Rocky Road, Pistachio, Cookie Butter, Midnight Magic, Birthday Surprise, GF Pistachio, GF Triple Chocolate Torte, GF Wedding Cake, and the Flash Flavor can be indulged upon through January 31, 2024.
Golden Corral
Through January 7, 2024, guests at the Golden Corral receive a $10 bonus card with every $50 or more gift card purchase. Bonus cards are redeemable from January 8 – February 13, 2024.

The Honey Baked Ham franchise released a festive menu to make the holidays even more delicious. The brand’s menu includes Honey Baked Ham and Honey Baked Turkey Breast, Ham & Cheddar Biscuits and Take & Bake Sliders. You can also enjoy Bone-In Half Ham, Six-Sided Sampler, Boneless Ham, and Turkey Breast.
Jamba
Jamba is getting into the holiday spirit with new festive menu items, including the Orange Cranberry Whip Smoothie, Banana Cream Pie Smoothie, and the Frozen Hot Chocolate Smoothie. There is also the Peanut Butter & Banana Waffle Parfait Bowl, which combines Greek yogurt or coconut whip, banana slices and a waffle topped with peanut butter drizzle and granola.
Jimmy John’s
It wouldn’t be the holiday season without a great cookie. In commemoration of the 2023 holiday season, Jimmy John’s is offering the new Peppermint Chocolate Cookie.
KFC
This holiday season, KFC is debuting the holiday-themed buckets for its $20 Fill Up Box. The chicken franchise is also launching a new line of KFC Shop merch inspired by the “Secret Recipe of Joy” holiday bucket. Two new items on the 2023 holiday menu include the Mac & Cheese Wrap and the Colonel’s Homestyle Brownie.
Logan’s Roadhouse
You can’t go wrong with a gift card as a stocking stuffer! When you buy $50 gift cards from Logan’s Roadhouse, guests will receive a complimentary $10 bonus card. This offer is available online and in-restaurant from October 30 – December 31, with double bonus card days offered November 27 – 30 and December 13 – 19.
MilkShake Factory
Who doesn’t love a good milkshake during the holidays? At the MilkShake Factory, you can enjoy the new Peppermint Brownie Fudge and Soft Baked Snickerdoodle Milkshakes.
MOD Pizza
In honor of the 2023 holiday season, MOD Pizza is bringing back its Chocolate Peppermint No Name Cake. The chocolate cake has a creamy peppermint filling, is coated in delicious dark chocolate, and topped with festive peppermint candy-cane sprinkles. This delectable holiday treat will be available through January 15, 2024.
Moxies
Moxies, a premium casual concept with over 58 restaurants in North America, has several gift card promotions for the holidays. Guests get a $20 bonus gift card for every $100 in gift card purchases. The offer is valid now through December 31, and the bonus cards are valid from January 1, 2024 – March 31, 2024. Gift cards must be purchased in-restaurant.
Nékter Juice Bar

It also includes Smokey Bones’ Surf & Turf, featuring a seasoned 10 oz boneless ribeye with five grilled shrimp, accompanied by a choice of two regular sides. Additionally, guests can indulge in Turtle Cheesecake, Potatoes Au Gratin, and Buttered Green Beans.
Starbucks
Starbucks released its holiday 2023 menu in early November. To add to their holiday cheer, guests enjoy the new Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and fan-favorites including the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte. Additionally, select locations in the U.S. that serve Oleato beverages will also offer the Oleato Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte. Other holiday treats on the coffee brand’s 2023 holiday menu are the Cranberry Bliss Bar, Gingerbread Loaf, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Snowman Cookie and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish. All drinks come in new holiday packaging, and festive merchandise like gift cards and tumblers make great stocking stuffers.
Taco John’s
To spread some holiday cheer, Taco John’s is bringing back its annual Nachos Navidad dish. This seasonal treat includes red, green and yellow chips loaded with seasoned American beef, nacho cheese, refried beans, all-natural Cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. Additionally, for every $25 in gift cards purchased in-store or online, guests will receive a $5 bonus card redeemable from January 1 to February 29, 2024.
