Moreno Joined the Franchise Sales Organization in 2022
Franchise FastLane, a turn-key franchise sales organization, has promoted Kim Moreno to senior director of franchise development. Moreno joined the FSO in 2022 and previously served as a director of franchise development. She continues to work with consultant partners to foster the growth of emerging franchises.
“I’m excited to take more of a leadership role within the team. Franchise FastLane already provides a lot of leadership opportunities, but now I am excited to help other new hires be successful in their roles, as well,” Moreno said.

Taking Her Own Advice
Moreno recently became a multi-unit franchisee with Degree Wellness, a Franchise FastLane brand partner specializing in therapies such as cryotherapy, IV drips, red light treatments and infrared saunas. Her first studio is expected to open in July 2026.
“I finally took my own advice,” she said. “I was inspired to invest in Degree Wellness after taking so many other candidates through the discovery process and seeing how founder Amanda Lightcap goes above and beyond to make sure each franchisee feels supported. From playbooks to specialists, the brand has a process for everything and someone to turn to if you need assistance.”

Lifting Others Up
Beyond her specific job description, Moreno characterizes herself as a “cheerleader” committed to teamwork, discipline and supporting others. She gained these traits as an actual cheerleader in college and with the NBA, and carried them forward throughout her career, including almost 20 years with Varsity Brands and now with Franchise FastLane. She is also passionate about working with local schools to help students develop safe cheerleading practices and learn new skills.
“As a coach and director, I developed the ability to mentor, communicate effectively and build trust,” Moreno said. “These skills directly translate into guiding candidates through the discovery process. Education, transparency and strong relationships help empower candidates to make confident decisions.”
Outside of the office, Moreno enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children and dog, Morty, who has his own Instagram account! She also taught herself embroidery during the COVID-19 pandemic while watching reality television.
