Pomponio Leads Franchise Development for REP’M’s Newest Brand Partner, Musicologie
REP’M Group, a full-service franchise development organization, has named Annie Pomponio director of franchise development for its newest brand partner, Musicologie. She is responsible for fostering nationwide growth for the music-focused children’s enrichment franchise. REP’M Group’s other brand partners include MilkShake Factory, Pause Studio, 4Ever Young Anti Aging Solutions, Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique, Garage Kings, Facialworks, 2nd Family, Art of Drawers, sugaringLA, HOMEstretch and HealthSource.
“There are not enough child enrichment brands with a music focus,” Pomponio said. “I’m so proud of our Musicologie founders, Kay and Joseph Baker, for never giving up on their amazing idea and making it happen. Now we can offer it to other entrepreneurs to enrich their lives and their communities, as well.”
Pomponio became aware of REP’M when she met Vice President of Franchise Development Jen Rieck. Pomponio said they connected instantly because they are both native Coloradans who have similar work histories. “As I followed her and REP’M Group on social media, I couldn’t help but think, ‘I’m really missing out on something here,’” Pomponio said. “In late 2023, Jen and I discussed the exciting growth at REP’M Group, and when Musicologie came along, I knew it was the right fit. Meeting REP’M’s leaders at an International Franchise Association event confirmed that this was the opportunity I’d been waiting for.”

Rieck said Pomponio’s vast understanding of the franchise industry will serve her well in the new role. “We are beyond excited and fortunate to have Annie on the REP’M team,” she said.
Responsible Franchising
Pomponio said she stumbled into franchising by chance when a high school friend recommended a franchise development role at PostNet, a printing services company. Although she had no experience in franchising, Pomponio applied, got the job and stayed for seven years. She also has worked for Sempera, Catalyst Search, The Media Group and Dish Network.
Since joining REP’M, Pomponio said she has seen firsthand the importance of responsible franchising. She said emerging franchisors looking to develop responsibly should trust their brands and the experts who guide them. “Never stop asking questions, and stay involved with the IFA while networking with franchisors across industries,” Pomponio said.
In addition to helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, the mom of two is passionate about cooking and entertaining.
