REP’M Group Fosters the Fashion Education Franchise’s Growth

REP’M Group, a North Carolina-based franchise development company, has named Alissa Pavano director of franchise development for its newest brand partner, The Fashion Class. Established in 2010, The Fashion Class offers hands-on learning in the fashion industry for clients of all ages.

Pavano’s background is in e-commerce and entrepreneurship. She had the opportunity to collaborate with REP’M Group co-founder and managing partner Nick Sheehan and director of franchise development Marisa Kochnover while working on local projects with an indoor cycling franchise.

“What really attracted me to the REP’M Group is its ability to support businesses at every stage — from brand development and real estate selection to construction, operations and long-term brand growth. They don’t just launch brands; they help scale and sustain them,” Pavano said. “Responsible franchising, to me, means setting franchises up for long-term success. It’s about maintaining the brand’s integrity and ensuring sustainable growth without compromising quality, the culture or the entrepreneur’s experience.”

Alissa Pavano is the newest director of franchise development for REP’M Group.

Pavano previously built her own e-commerce boutique brand, which provided insight into the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship experience she leverages in this new role. “I have handled everything from inventory management to marketing strategies, shipping logistics and product development, all while managing customer service and brand collaborations. I feel this will allow me to connect with franchisees and franchisors genuinely.”

She said the key to franchise development is having strong systems and the right partners. “The focus should be on the customer experience and local marketing. When you nail those two, growth comes naturally.”

Jen Rieck, vice president of franchise development at REP’M Group, praised Pavano’s entrepreneurial spirit, e-commerce expertise and infectious energy. “Her fashion-forward style will suit her well as one of the lead development directors driving franchise growth for The Fashion Class brand. Alissa is an exceptional addition to the REP’M Group team,” Rieck said.

Pavano resides in Connecticut with her three teenagers. Prior to calling the Constitution State home, she moved across the country more than a dozen times during the early years of raising her young family.
