Allen Joined the Franchise Development Company in 2022
REP’M Group, a leading franchise development company, has promoted Clay Allen from director of franchise development for Alloy Personal Training to senior director of franchise development. In addition to Alloy Personal Training, REP’M Group’s brand partners include MilkShake Factory, Pause Studio, 4Ever Young Anti Aging Solutions, Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique, Garage Kings, Facialworks, 2nd Family, Art of Drawers, sugaringLA, HOMEstretch, HealthSource and Musicologie.
Allen said his passion for wellness stems from his experience as an athlete and a coach and his work designing weight rooms, making him an ideal fit for Alloy Personal Training. “This concept is personal,” Allen said. “The impact Alloy is already having on individuals and their communities around the country is powerful. We want to find the right people that are going to carry the torch and be the value proposition, and that’s how we’re going to ensure long-term success.”
He said culture was a major reason why he decided to join REP’M Group in 2022. “The partners have done an incredible job surrounding themselves with great people, and it makes working at REP’M something that is becoming more and more sought after,” Allen said.

A significant aspect of the franchise development company’s culture is a dedication to responsible franchising, he said. “Responsible franchising is not only helping individuals find the right opportunity that aligns with their goals and toolset; it’s also having the operational support built out as a guide to success,” Allen said. “I have always approached this job as educational. Not everyone is the right fit for Alloy and vice versa, but I’m going to educate them so they can make the best possible decision for themselves and their family.” The opportunity to continue working with the leadership team that has entrusted him with more responsibility is also rewarding, Allen added.
“Clay is a model franchise development professional. His leadership, discipline, focus and attention to detail is wildly admirable, and I am proud to call him a friend and teammate,” said Cary Tober, vice president of franchise development of REP’M Group.
Important Lessons
Allen credited the mentors and opportunities he’s had throughout his career, including becoming a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Mercer University and a fitness instructor at James F. Byrnes Strength & Conditioning. He said these experiences have contributed to his personal and professional success, and will continue to serve him well in his role with REP’M. Three pillars that have stayed with him are: Be curious, not judgmental; rising tides raise all ships; and seek progress, not perfection.
When he’s not in the office, Allen enjoys spending time with his wife, Eva, and their daughter.
