Jenkins has Almost Three Decades of Automotive Industry Experience
FullSpeed Automotive, the franchisor and operator of SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service, Grease Monkey, Kwik Kar, Herbert Automotive, Super Lube Plus and Excel Car Wash, has named Harry Jenkins president of retail operations. He is responsible for ensuring operational consistency across FullSpeed Automotive’s brands while further developing customer service protocols.
Jenkins said FullSpeed Automotive’s commitment to quality customer service is an attractive aspect of the business. “I was thoroughly impressed by the innovative approach to automotive care and intrigued by the opportunity to work with a team that values continuous improvement and employee development.”
CEO Rob Lynch said he is thrilled to have Jenkins on the team. “Harry’s proven success in refining operational performance and systems will play a key role in helping our brands enter into this next era of growth,” Lynch said.

Jenkins said a big factor in FullSpeed Automotive’s growth will be utilizing technological advancements at its traditional auto shops. “Our brands provide excellent basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, car washes and brake services. Technicians at some of our locations also use their expertise for the maintenance of electric vehicles including the general inspection of EV batteries and safety checks.”
Passion for Helping Others
Jenkins got his start in the automotive industry nearly three decades ago at NAPA Auto Parts, a brand in the Genuine Parts Company’s portfolio. He managed sales operations and client relations for more than 100 independent stores during that time. He then served in leadership roles for car manufacturer Bridgestone and mobility solutions provider TBC Corporation. Jenkins’ background also includes working at Woodie’s Wash Shack and ModWash as vice president of operations and COO, respectively.
Jenkins said his experience in these roles has helped hone his skills in team management and customer relations, which are crucial for his new position at FullSpeed Automotive. During his career, Jenkins has received accolades for his leadership including TBC Corporation’s President’s Club Award and Bridgestone’s SC Zone District of the Year.
“My passion has always been helping people, and the franchising industry gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. The beauty of franchising is that there is an established business model in place that has been proven successful, ensuring we have the right tools and resources in place to provide excellent customer service and that our operations are running efficiently,” he said.
While he lives in Chattanooga, Tenn., with his wife and four children, Jenkins was born and raised in The Big Easy and roots for the New Orleans Saints and Louisiana State University Tigers.
