Pool Plans to Leverage Her Expertise in Data-Driven Strategies Across a Variety of Sectors

Stacey Pool has been tapped as chief marketing officer with FullSpeed Automotive, a franchisor and operator of automotive after-market repair facilities. In this role, she will oversee all brand and digital marketing efforts, lead customer experience and report directly to CEO Rob Lynch. Pool brings two decades of technology and marketing experience to the position.

Having been aware of FullSpeed for a few years, Pool said she was intrigued by the umbrella franchisor’s family of brands (SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service, Grease Monkey, Kwik Kar, Herbert Automotive, Super Lube Plus and Excel Car Wash) and their growth potential. When she was approached about the CMO role, she said she was excited about leveraging her expertise in data-driven strategies across a variety of sectors to benefit FullSpeed.

“I am most excited to learn about a new industry. One thing I have appreciated about my entire career is that I have been blessed to experience many different industries, cultures and products that have provided me an opportunity to be a more well-rounded marketing leader,” Pool said. “I think the FullSpeed team is very balanced in demonstrating we can drive car counts while also moving the business forward in new and unique ways.”

“Stacey brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in digital innovation and performance marketing,” Lynch said. “Her diverse experience is complemented by her focus on cultivating high-performing, adaptable and innovative teams, which will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing success of FullSpeed Automotive.”

Keys to Marketing Success

Marketing will be key to that success, Pool said. While there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to marketing, Pool said franchisors can improve their marketing initiatives by understanding their brands and competitive advantages, and effectively utilizing customer data. “While these points may seem obvious, they carry significant weight in a competitive landscape. Brands can become overly focused on internal operations, potentially losing sight of external shifts in customer behavior and competitor strategies,” she said. “I think it’s important to streamline internal processes, but it can’t be at the expense of advancing the brand. It’s about finding the right balance between operational excellence and evolving the brand to remain relevant and competitive in the market.”

Pool’s passion for technology and building memorable customer experiences have driven her throughout her marketing career. She described “the intertwined nature of technology and marketing” as a great way to utilize her skills and expertise. “Today, it’s hard to imagine any marketing strategy without a robust data and tech infrastructure. I truly feel that I’ve been able to blend the best of both worlds.”

From Food to Cars

Pool’s journey into franchising began with Noodles & Company, where she worked with strong franchisees in the restaurant industry. She said the highlight of her experience in franchising has been witnessing entrepreneurs’ passion and relentless commitment. Pool said she values feedback from franchise owners whose involvement in every aspect of the business and community provides invaluable perspectives.

Her transition from food franchising to the automotive industry stems from her love of learning and exploring different industries. Pool said FullSpeed is at a pivotal point where the right marketing strategies paired with an exceptional customer experience can drive growth. “I was very impressed with the team and their passion to advance the experience. It’s an exciting challenge with tremendous upside, and I am confident in my ability to contribute to the growth.”

Outside of franchising, Pool has a passion for sports, theater and traveling. While she has explored much of the world, she finds time at home with her family and four dogs most enjoyable.
