Ellis Spent Nearly 30 Years in the Uniform Rental Sector

PIRTEK USA, a specialized franchise providing on-site and retail hydraulic and industrial hose replacement services, has named Todd Ellis director of national accounts. Ellis is responsible for maximizing PIRTEK’s existing partnerships, developing new national and regional programs and implementing a systematic approach to the brand’s national accounts program. Ellis brings almost three decades of experience in the uniform rental sector, supporting the oil and gas, rental and manufacturing industries. While at Aramark Uniform Services, he collaborated with operations teams to develop solutions that improved efficiency and safety.

“PIRTEK caught my attention because it’s a clear leader in the hydraulic and industrial hose industry, with a service model that truly stands out. Everything about the business is built around urgency, reliability and technical expertise — exactly what national customers care about when downtime matters,” Ellis said. “While PIRTEK is my introduction to franchising, I already appreciate the balance of the business model. Local owners are fully invested in their businesses, backed by strong national support and strategy. When everyone is aligned, the model works incredibly well and produces results that wouldn’t be possible on either side alone.”

Ellis said he is motivated by the opportunity to build long-term relationships that make a difference for PIRTEK and its clients. “There’s a real opportunity to bring greater clarity and consistency to national accounts while ensuring franchise owners genuinely see the value and impact at the local level. National and regional accounts are important because they bring stability and long-term value to the entire network. They create consistent revenue, strengthen customer relationships and open doors that individual locations often can’t reach on their own. When done right, national accounts help franchisors grow the brand, support franchise owners and build credibility across the system.”

Ellis said PIRTEK USA can maintain its edge by delivering fast response times, employing highly skilled and professionally trained technicians and providing reliable hydraulic and industrial hose services. “At the same time, we continue to improve in the areas that national and regional customers care about most. We pride ourselves on giving our customers better visibility into their data, clearer communication, and easy, consistent, and consolidated billing. When you put all of that together, PIRTEK becomes more than a vendor — we become a trusted partner.”

John Dobelbower, vice president of franchise development at PIRTEK USA and PIRTEK Canada, commended Ellis’ extensive experience in managing national relationships. “As we continue to expand our franchise system and strengthen our brand both nationally and regionally, his leadership will ensure we are delivering unmatched value to customers while creating opportunities for our franchisees to grow,” Dobelbower said.
