Former Purpose Brands Executive Brings a Trust-Centered Approach to Role

WellBiz Brands, the parent company of Drybar, Elements Massage, Fitness Together, Amazing Lash Studio and Radiant Waxing, has named John Thuringer vice president of franchise growth. Thuringer utilizes his franchise development experience to attract new franchisees and broaden Wellbiz Brands’ footprint. He has spent the last 17-plus years leading development at Anytime Fitness and Waxing the City, wellness concepts under the Purpose Brands umbrella.

“I’m thrilled to join WellBiz Brands at such an exciting point in its journey,” Thuringer said. “I see many parallels between my time at Purpose Brands and the opportunity here. We have category-leading concepts, a talented development team and significant potential. My approach has always been centered on building trust, creating lasting relationships and helping franchisees pursue their business goals. I’m ready to bring that experience to WellBiz Brands and help more entrepreneurs build businesses that create value in their communities.”

He said he enjoys representing a company that helps people feel better about themselves and strengthen their self-esteem. “When you do this correctly, your customers are loyal, and they keep coming back. This loyalty translates into revenues for our franchisees. Franchisors can also foster growth by supporting their franchisees and giving them the tools to be successful. Along with that, they should be hyper-focused on their numbers and making sure they are profitable.”
