Cupach’s New Role Focuses on Expanding the Home Services Franchisor’s Brands

Sharon Cupach has been promoted to vice president of franchise development for Happinest Brands, a corporate franchisor of three home service brands: ecomaids, Lawn Doctor, and Mosquito Hunters. She was previously Happinest Brands’ senior director of franchise development. With this new role, Cupach focuses on assisting Happinest’s senior vice president and development team to expand the home services franchisor’s brands. Cupach’s prior experience includes serving as the vice president of franchise development for Premium Service Brands.

Cupach looks forward to working with the umbrella franchisor’s leadership team. “Happinest Brands was appealing right away for me. Its vision and goals to build a ‘nest’ of home service brands under the umbrella and tap into shared resources for our franchisees made perfect sense. I have a passion to grow newer concepts and watch them realize system success,” Cupach said.

Regarding Cupach’s new position, Eric Martin, Happinest’s new senior vice president of franchise development, said, “Having someone of Sharon’s caliber and experience level to work alongside me and other members of the leadership team to achieve these aggressive goals is key to our long-term success.” 

Happinest Brands announced the news on social media. “Sharon has experience in a variety of industries including home services, sales and consulting, B2B, and restaurant franchising to name a few. Her straightforward approach to relationship building and sales has afforded her the honor of assisting hundreds of candidates realize their dream of business ownership. Sharon has been a resource and mentor to many in the franchise community. She spent several years as an entrepreneur herself partnering with emerging brands, designing systems and processes as well as outsourced franchise development responsibilities,” the corporate franchisor’s post said. 

In Cupach’s view, Happinest’s culture makes it stand out. “Happinest Brands is a company with integrity. This culture positively impacts every relationship in franchising from franchise partners, consultant relationships, and vendors to name a few. When integrity is at the forefront, our relationships will follow,” she said. 

A Franchise Veteran’s Journey 

Like many before her, Cupach fell into the franchising industry. “I knew right away that franchising was my calling. After 25 years, I still love it every single day!” she adds. Her favorite aspect about franchising is “the amazing feeling of walking someone through the process to determine if their goal of business ownership can truly become a reality. I feel satisfaction in building foundations of franchisees and systems for newer brands.”

In addition to working to put ecomaids on the map, Cupach has been the manager of franchise sales relations at Comfort Keepers, an in-home senior care franchise; an independent franchise consultant; and vice president of franchise development for Oasis Senior Advisors, which offers a free service for finding senior living and care options. Outside of her work, Cupach enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, cooking, and trying great wines.
