Hernandez Joins the Non-Medical Home Care Provider as Franchise Development Director
HomeWell Care Services, a non-medical home care provider, has named Taylor Hernandez franchise development director. Reporting to vice president of franchise development Mike Condon, Hernandez fosters HomeWell’s growth through attracting and vetting qualified investors. She brings almost a decade of franchise sales recruiting experience to the role.
Hernandez carefully researched the home care industry before focusing on HomeWell and its potential as a disruptor. “Rather than simply addressing the activities of daily living, HomeWell focuses on the root causes that prevent seniors from aging in place,” she said. “I see a dedicated team, starting with the executive leadership, that genuinely cares and is invested in the success of their franchisees.”
Hernandez cited her Catholic faith as the driving force behind her own desire to serve others. “I love being part of something bigger than myself. Our franchisees and their staff and caregivers are true heroes. My goal is to contribute in the best way I can.”

Condon said Hernandez’s experience in franchise development and passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed make her a strong asset to the HomeWell team. “With Taylor on board, we’re confident we will continue to have great success in guiding candidates through our education process and adding to our great franchisee network,” he said.
A Love of Entrepreneurship
Hernandez’s franchising career began with her family’s franchise sales organization, Franchise Performance Group. She also has experience in franchise sales roles with brands including Paris Baguette and Re-Bath.
“Watching my parents demonstrate the grit and determination needed to be entrepreneurs inspired me to join the family business after college,” she said. “Alongside my husband, I worked for my parents’ company for nearly five years. Working with a variety of brands across different franchise verticals throughout my career has shown me how to navigate challenges and drive growth.”
When vetting candidates, Hernandez said understanding their motivations is important in determining whether they will be a good fit. “I look for individuals who are coachable, process-oriented and willing to work hard.”
Hernandez’s interests include spending time with her family, hiking and baking. She previously played competitive ping pong.
