Wright Credits the Home Services Platform’s Proven System and Strong Leadership Team with Franchisee Success

Five Star Franchising, a platform of home services brands, has named Missy Wright vice president of franchise development. Five Star’s portfolio of brands includes Gotcha Covered, Five Star Bath Solutions, Bio-One, Mosquito Shield, 1-800-Packouts and Card My Yard. Wright, who has 10 years of franchise development and leadership experience, oversees expansion efforts for Mosquito Shield and Gotcha Covered.

Wright said Mosquito Shield and Gotcha Covered benefit from decades of process, development and support, and she’s excited to build upon this progress with these home services franchises. She said she initially was drawn to Five Star Franchising because of its values. “With a company growing at the trajectory Five Star is, it gave me the confidence to know that they will remain true to the DNA of the company. It is a pleasure to build with people who are aligned with your own values.”

Chief Growth Officer J. Andrew Mengason said Wright’s background and work ethic will drive Five Star Franchising’s expansion. “Missy is experienced, driven and focused on growth – the perfect person to lead these two brands as we continue to expand. We were looking for someone who can connect with those seeking to change their lives and achieve the lifestyle flexibility these home-based and mobile franchises offer aspiring business owners. We are thrilled to have Missy join the team.”

Echoing Mengason’s sentiments, Wright said the work-life balance offered by Five Star Franchising, combined with Five Star’s recognition, system and support is a recipe for franchisee success. “With over 900 franchise owners, Five Star is just getting started,” she said.

Falling into Franchising

Wright began her franchising career as franchise development director of Pinot’s Palette, an entertainment art studio concept. She has also served as senior director of franchise recruitment for Unleashed Brands and director of franchise development for Christian Brothers Automotive

Wright said the most gratifying aspect of franchising is the opportunity to change lives. “We help people become business owners, control their own destiny and support their community,” she said. “We get to be a very small part of a very big change, and there is nothing more rewarding.”

Now based in Houston, Wright was born and raised in Wisconsin. The die-hard Green Bay Packers fan enjoys nothing more than cheering on her favorite NFL team with her two little cheeseheads.
