There are now 74 companies and 101 executives representing a wide range of franchise brands on the board. The Titus Center is part of Palm Beach Atlantic University, a private institution based in West Palm Beach, Fla.

In a news release, Dr. John P. Hayes, CFE, Titus Center founding chairman, said the franchise industry has taken note of the center’s specialized educational opportunities. “Interest in Titus Center, especially in recruiting our graduates as employees and franchisees, continues to increase, especially as franchise professionals discover that Palm Beach Atlantic University is in its seventh year of educating college students about franchising,” Hayes said. “I am extremely grateful to the many franchise professionals who support our mission at the Titus Center.”

At present, several dozen undergraduates are working toward a concentration in franchising at Palm Beach Atlantic. More than 50 students already have graduated from the program, with seven of them becoming franchisees and many others employed by franchises.
