Wright Pioneered AI-Enabled Audience Modeling for the Advertising Services Company
JBecca, a Minneapolis-based advertising services company that provides customized marketing programs for brands of all sizes, has promoted Rebecca Wright from managing partner to president. During her tenure with the company, Wright has pioneered AI-enabled audience modeling and scaled multi-unit campaigns across search, social, email, display, connected TV and offline initiatives. Her promotion follows JBecca’s 30% year-over-year growth and the successful launch of its MEL AI data platform, which provides franchisees with real-time insights, training and support.
Wright said the marketing intelligence platform helps JBecca push franchising forward by combining storytelling with data-driven insights. “Franchise brands naturally have amazing stories,” she said. “They’re built on success one location and franchisee at a time. Telling those stories authentically makes people connect emotionally with the brand. It helps customers feel loyal, increases their lifetime value and makes potential franchisees see themselves clearly within the brand’s core. Storytelling backed by data is really the sweet spot, and that’s where we live.”
Wright said growing up with a mother who ran her own business provided insights and motivation to help other entrepreneurs achieve their goals. “Every time our tools enable a brand to help their franchisees succeed, it feels like I’m doing what I wished someone could’ve done for my mom when she was struggling to keep her business going.”
Wright said she strives to lead her team with clarity, curiosity and empathy. “Leadership is creating a space where people feel safe taking risks, making mistakes and growing. I’m big on transparency and always want my team to understand the ‘why’ behind everything we do. To me, leadership isn’t about telling people what to do; it’s about helping them see what they’re capable of and aligning that with our shared goals.”
Her husband, Jay Wright, who is Jbecca’s founder and CEO, said she has been the strategic engine behind the company’s clients’ success. “Naming her president ensures we keep innovating and delivering outsized results as we scale,” he said.
Professional Background
Wright’s background includes leadership roles with Strista, CCG Marketing, Hot Dish Advertising and Great Clips. “Everything I learned about franchise leadership, I learned at Great Clips,” she said. “Being inside such a successful, people-focused brand taught me trust, authenticity and curiosity. Working with thousands of franchisees from every imaginable background has also helped me learn how to think big-picture but still connect personally. My proudest moments are the everyday wins with franchisees.”
