Franchisees Thrive with Joe Homebuyer’s Proven System, Low-Stress Model and Values-Driven Approach
What started as a simple idea has blossomed into Joe Homebuyer, a growing real estate franchise with a supportive culture and a proven model. Founded by Mark Stubler and Cody Hofhine in 2015, the brand initially focused on assisting Utah homeowners in selling properties without the stress of traditional listings. The idea gained traction quickly, establishing Joe Homebuyer as a trusted, efficient alternative to standard real estate practices. Recognizing the potential to expand, Stubler and Hofhine transformed Joe Homebuyer into a franchise in 2019, aiming to help others achieve success in real estate while supporting homeowners nationwide.
Today, Joe Homebuyer operates in over 80 territories across 23 states, with a network of franchisees who leverage the brand’s proven model and robust support system. The franchise empowers real estate entrepreneurs to access three lucrative revenue streams — investing, flipping, and rentals — all while circumventing many common industry challenges. Franchisees benefit from extensive training, a wealth of resources, and a collaborative culture that makes growth manageable and rewarding.
Real Estate Growth
The U.S. real estate market presents immense potential. According to Mordor Intelligence, the residential real estate market is projected to reach over $14 trillion by 2029. Real estate investment models like Joe Homebuyer offer franchisees a way to capture a portion of this growth with a streamlined, low-overhead business model.
Joe Homebuyer franchisees take on an active role, handling operations and driving results by executing tailored marketing strategies, setting budgets, meeting with sellers, and customizing strategies for each property. With a primary focus on managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track growth, franchisees achieve impressive outcomes with minimal staffing and overhead, keeping operations efficient and profitable.
The combination of autonomy and simplicity makes Joe Homebuyer an attractive franchise opportunity for entrepreneurs looking to scale a real estate business efficiently. As Stubler shares below, the culture, values, and time-tested systems at Joe Homebuyer are designed to support franchisees at every step, helping them to build successful, sustainable businesses in a highly competitive market.

Q&A: Mark Stubler, Joe Homebuyer
1. Please share your brand story.
In 2015, Cody Hofhine and I co-founded Joe Homebuyer as a service-based business designed to help homeowners sell unwanted properties without the hassle of traditional listings. After rapidly dominating the Utah market, we recognized we had created something special and scalable.
That’s why, in 2019, we launched the Joe Homebuyer franchise. Our goal was to help homeowners nationwide while also providing a proven system for like-minded investors to scale their own real estate operations and build lasting wealth through real estate. Today, we have grown to 80 territories across 23 states.
2. What makes Joe Homebuyer unique?
The core of the Joe Homebuyer business model is empowering real estate investors to scale their operations to new heights. We understand the common challenges investors face in trying to grow — the risk, the stress, the confusion, and the time and resource constraints.
That’s why we’ve developed a proven franchise system that removes those barriers, giving our franchisees a clear path to scaling as big as they’d like. We provide the systems, training, proven plans and dedicated support to help them systematically tap into all three of the most lucrative real estate revenue streams (investing, flipping and rentals) without the usual headaches, so they can break through their current ceiling. Whether they want to invest, flip, build a rental portfolio or accomplish all three, our franchisees are given the resources and flexibility to create the business that aligns with their vision.
3. Describe your corporate culture.
Our culture is anchored in our four core values, the “4 H’s” as we like to call them: Hunger, Humility, Honesty, and Heart for Others. These aren’t just words on a wall — they are a living, breathing embodiment of who we are as a company and the type of franchisees we attract.

Our franchisees are driven, ambitious individuals who are relentlessly hungry to scale their real estate operations. They also approach this journey with a profound sense of humility, always striving to learn and improve. Honesty and integrity are nonnegotiable, as we believe trust is the foundation of any great partnership. Underpinning it all is a genuine care and concern for others — whether that’s our valued customers, our dedicated franchisees or the communities we serve.
4. What makes Joe Homebuyer a standout business opportunity?
What truly sets us apart is our focus on helping real estate investors scale their businesses to new heights. Our franchisees gain access to industry-leading tools, resources and a collaborative community. Most importantly, they have a clear, structured path to building the real estate operations they’ve been dreaming of.
5. How do you engage with franchisees to improve the franchise system?
One of the key ways we engage franchisees is through regular mastermind groups, where franchisees at similar stages of growth can learn from each other, share best practices and provide mutual accountability. We also leverage surveys and other feedback to gather insights from franchisees. We actively seek out honest feedback, knowing that it is essential for continuous improvement. We are committed to being accessible and responsive to franchisee needs.
6. How do you foster a positive franchisee culture?
This starts at the top, as we value diversity of ideas, backgrounds and beliefs. During meetings and gatherings, there are ample opportunities for franchisees to ask questions, share their experiences and contribute their unique perspectives.
We believe that everyone has something valuable to offer, and we provide a platform that encourages franchisees to freely share their insights and ideas. Along with the diversity within the franchise system, there is a strong sense of collaboration and a shared commitment to each other’s success.
By fostering this collaborative, values-driven culture, we create an environment where franchisees feel supported, empowered and invested in each other’s growth and prosperity.
