Accounting and Finance Professional Will Guide Franchise Owners as They Develop Their Regions

Dill Dinkers, an indoor pickleball franchise, has named Roy Tarash to serve as Chief Financial Officer. Tarash, who has 30-plus years of experience in finance, will oversee the company’s financial initiatives and guide franchise owners. Dill Dinkers recently has put together a C-suite team that also includes Chief Marketing Officer Erika Spalding, Chief Development Officer Dr. Ben Litalien, Chief Technology Officer Rob Pless and Chief Pickleball Officer Brian Lloyd.

Dill Dinkers co-founder Will Richards said his company’s mission “has always been to spread the joy of pickleball. And now with our franchising launch, we are thrilled to see it come to life. After forming an experienced team equipped with business acumen and an undeniable love for the sport, we are thrilled to see our collective passion and expertise producing a strong alliance and effective results. We look forward to welcoming our franchise partners on board throughout the year.”

Roy Tarash is the new CFO for Dill Dinkers.

The brand’s streamlined approach to the business of indoor pickleball clubs sold Tarash on joining up. “Building a company from the very beginning and the rapid growth we are already seeing excited me the most about my role.” He is bullish about the future of pickleball franchising because it is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. Although Tarash is still a novice, he enjoys playing the game.

Tarash was attracted to franchising because of the opportunities for entrepreneurs, and he appreciates that the business model allows concepts to be scaled quickly. He started his career at the Grant Thornton public accounting firm, later working with successful private sector companies in manufacturing, distribution, software services, construction and retail.

Financial Guidance

As CFO, Tarash understands that franchise owners need expert financial guidance to help them reach their goals. On the franchisor side, he believes companies should focus on a win-win mentality for themselves and their franchisees. When it comes to investing in a franchise and sustaining it, Tarash advises candidates to identify the keys to success and continuously reevaluate performance against those measures.
