Berry Brings Extensive Leadership and Business Ownership Experience to the Role
Re-Bath, a complete bathroom remodeling franchise, has named Chuck Berry chief operating officer. Berry leads and improves the support divisions for Re-Bath’s sales and bathroom production, and the team’s corporate management. He also plans to launch a franchise coach program designed to elevate field support and enhance training.
“It’s been deeply rewarding to contribute to the vision and strategy of such a successful and growing organization,” he said about his new role. “I’m especially excited to help strengthen franchise performance and ensure that every owner has the tools, support and insights needed to reach their full potential.”
Berry has almost 30 years of leadership experience in franchise support and business ownership, which includes founding Polaris Suzuki Yamaha Powersports in 1996. After 17 years of ownership, Berry sold the business and went on to serve in various leadership roles with the Servpro restoration services franchise.
Owning a company for almost two decades and leading within franchisor organizations has given Berry a unique perspective. “I know firsthand the challenges, risks and rewards of entrepreneurship. That experience helps me better understand what franchise owners need to succeed and how to support them effectively. We need more of that owner’s mindset at the franchisor level.”
Brad Hillier, CEO of Re-Bath, said Berry’s extensive professional experience makes him an asset to the brand. “His vision and focus on operational excellence will help ensure Re-Bath continues to lead the industry and deliver value for our franchisees and customers,” Hillier said.
Franchise Growth
Re-Bath stands out in the home services industry by combining franchise expansion with select corporate ownership. The brand has grown its franchise system by 32% in the last three years.
Berry said continued growth will result by elevating the customer experience. “Our system attracts exceptional entrepreneurs who share our commitment to quality and professionalism. Together, we’re raising standards for what customers can expect from home remodeling, and that will have a lasting impact on the industry. Consumers increasingly prefer trusted brands that deliver a professional, consistent experience. Larger, well organized companies are positioned to lead the next era of growth, which makes this an incredibly exciting time to be part of it.”
Berry said entrepreneurs considering franchising should not underestimate the amount of work it takes to build a successful business. “Franchising provides systems, support and proven processes, but it still requires personal commitment and discipline. Many people believe business ownership will offer more free time; in reality, it demands more of you in the early years. The good news is that a strong franchise system sets the right expectations and gives you a roadmap to succeed if you’re willing to put in the effort.”
