Boorse has Extensive Business Operations, Home Services and Franchising Experience

Re-Bath, a bathroom remodeling franchise, has appointed Andrew Boorse general counsel. Boorse offers guidance on contracting, compliance and overall legal operations at the corporate level, while also enhancing clarity and education for franchise requirements and agreements at the franchisee level. He brings more than a decade of legal experience to the position.

Boorse said Re-Bath’s most attractive aspects include its national recognition, strong marketplace presence and impressive growth potential. “Re-Bath’s established reputation, combined with its opportunity for continued expansion, made it a particularly exciting place to contribute my expertise,” he said. “When I heard about the opportunity to join Re-Bath as general counsel, it felt like the perfect fit because I can leverage my skills and experience in law and franchising for a brand that I truly believe in.”

He said he’s focused on enhancing ReBath’s operational efficiency and providing clear, strategic guidance to the company’s executives and franchise owners. “This role allows me to help streamline processes and ensure that we are supporting franchisees and internal teams effectively, driving growth and success across all areas of the business.”

CEO Brad Hillier said Boorse’s diverse experience and skills enable him to contribute valuable guidance as a member of the leadership team. “Andrew brings an impressive blend of legal expertise, business knowledge and an understanding of franchising, making him a unique and ideal professional to join our team as we continue to grow and innovate in the home improvement industry,” Hillier said. “His commitment to fostering transparency and clear guidance will strengthen both our corporate operations and the support we give to our franchisees.”

Entrepreneurial Upbringing

Boorse grew up with entrepreneurial parents who involved him in their business from an early age. After graduating from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Boorse moved to Arizona and established his own law firm where he worked closely with small and medium-sized businesses.

Boorse’s introduction to franchising came when he served as general counsel for Mt Baker Vapor, an e-cigarette manufacturing company. He also has experience in the home improvement industry through his work providing legal counsel to organizations that acquired and managed blue-collar service businesses tied to property management. While working at PrePass, an SaaS provider for over-the-road trucking companies, he focused on employment law, process improvement, contracts and compliance.

“My background in private practice, as well as serving as counsel for a home services business, has provided me with valuable insight into the legal and operational needs of a growing company,” he said.

Understanding the Franchise Agreement

Boorse said he tells entrepreneurs to fully understand the practical implications of the terms and requirements outlined in their franchise agreements before signing them. “It’s not just about the language itself, but also about what those terms really mean and how they will be applied in the present day or over time,” he said. “Having a clear understanding of these elements is crucial for building a successful, long-term partnership.”
