These Fast-Food Franchises Put the Pie in Pi Day with Deals on Pizza and More

Pi Day celebrates the mathematical constant Pi, which is equivalent to about 3.14159265 and represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Physicist Larry Shaw organized the first large-scale celebration of Pi Day in 1988 at the San Francisco Exploratorium where he worked. The date, 3/14, represents the first three digits of Pi, which is represented by the Greek symbol π. Coincidentally, March 14 also was Albert Einstein’s birthday. But you don’t have to love math to celebrate Pi Day at any of the pizza or fast-food franchises offering creative discounts and deals on March 14.

Blaze Pizza
Blaze Pizza is commemorating Pi Day for the 12th consecutive year. When guests buy one 11-inch pizza, they get a second pie for $3.14. Guests taking advantage of this offer receive a code redeemable in the Blaze Pizza app that unlocks another buy-one-get-one deal for $3.14 through the end of March.
Burger King
Burger King is giving Royal Perks Reward members another reason to celebrate Pi Day by offering a free Hershey’s sundae pie (above) for $3.14 on March 14.
Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop
Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop is celebrating Pi Day with a three-for-$14 promotion at all of its locations. Guests can choose three 4-inch pies from a selection of flavors including key lime, Granny’s Apple and I-40. The I-40 is a pecan pie topped with shredded coconut and chocolate chips.
California Pizza Kitchen
From March 14-15, CPK Rewards members can get a pizza for $3.14 with a minimum purchase of $25 at participating California Pizza Kitchen locations.
Cicis Pizza
Cicis Pizza is putting the pie in Pi Day this March 14 by offering guests who order a medium or large single-topping pizza a second pizza of equal or lesser value for $3.14. This deal is valid for pick-up only at participating locations with the code PIDAY.
Happy Joe’s
Happy Joe’s is celebrating Pi Day by offering great deals throughout the month of March. For example, a medium Reuben pizza is just $18.99 at participating locations. Additionally, new loyalty members get $15 off a purchase of $30 or more when they sign up for the app.
Marco’s Pizza
Marco’s Pizza is celebrating Pi Day with a $3.14 discount off all medium single-topping pizzas purchased using the code PIDAY with any large or extra-large menu-priced pizza. The offer is available for online and app orders only.
Mountain Mike’s
Mountain Mike’s Pizza is offering reward members a free mini pizza with the purchase of a 20-ounce bottled beverage on Pi Day.
Moxies
Moxies is making Pi Day even sweeter with a great deal for customers. On March 14, the brand’s key lime pie (above) starts at $12.

Participating Mr. Gatti’s Pizza locations are offering a carryout or delivery of a medium 1-topping pizza for just $3.14 on Pi Day. All in-store Walmart locations are participating.

Newk’s Eatery is getting in on the fun of Pi Day with a great deal. Guests who buy a pizza on March 14 or 15 can get a classic pizza for $3.14.

Pie Five Pizza Co. is making Pi Day a five-day event. From March 10-14, customers can enjoy BOGO deals on build-your-own and signature pizzas.
