Zide Will Continue LYNX Franchising’s Growth By Acquiring Emerging Brands in Home Services Sector And Beyond
Scott Zide has been named CEO of LYNX Franchising, a franchise umbrella with a collection of brands that provide B2B and outdoor-focused residential services. Zide was recently the president and chief operating officer of Outdoor Living Brands, a franchisor in the outdoor services sector. His new position as CEO comes amid LYNX Franchising’s new partnership with Outdoor Living Brands, a strong year of growth, and expansion with several acquisitions.
“I am thrilled to take on this new role with LYNX Franchising as the company has made tremendous strides in the past year, assembling a portfolio of industry-leading commercial and residential service brands poised for explosive growth in the years ahead,” Zide said in a statement. He plans to continue the brand’s momentum by acquiring emerging brands in the home services sector and other “sectors of interest,” he said. He is also responsible for integrating Outdoor Living Brands and LYNX Franchising into one organization.
As a former franchisee himself, Zide will keep the interests of franchise owners in the forefront of his mind and include their input in his decision-making.
To ensure a smooth consolidation between the two entities, Chris Grandpre, the former chairman and CEO of Outdoor Living Brands, is now the chairman of LYNX Franchising. Grandpre joined the LYNX Franchising board of directors in September 2020.
“I have no doubt that, under the leadership of Scott, LYNX Franchising will continue to diversify its portfolio through being highly acquisitive in the commercial and residential services sectors,” Grandpre said.
