Soldierfit, a military-inspired fitness program, is taking on new recruits – with the launch of its franchising program. Army veteran Danny Farrar and fitness expert David Posin launched Soldierfit in 2007. Since then, the company has grown to include several locations in the Maryland/Washington DC area. The reasonably priced program blends boot camp classes, mixed martial arts, personal training and functional fitness.
“Unlike other gyms, our top priority is character building and teaching people the values of hard work and perseverance,” says Farrar. “We are a community and we literally refer to everyone in our facility as ‘troops.’ We’ll challenge, but never intimidate you.”
Not only does Soldierfit work to support members, the company is actively engaged in engaging franchisee veterans, offering a 50 percent military discount. And later this month, Farrar and Posin will unveil an unprecedented contest for military veterans. Plus, they recently launched 22 Needs a Face (www.22needsaface.org), a non-profit with a mission to combat the number of military service members committing suicide.
“There are few careers in this world that allow you the opportunity to give someone a better life,” says Posin. “This is why we love what we do and can’t wait to award the franchise opportunity to others.”
More details on the veteran franchisee contest will be coming soon. In the meantime, visit www.soldierfit.com for more information on the Soldierfit franchise opportunity.
