The Seasoned Pro Brings More Than a Decade of Franchising Experience to the Role

Snap Fitness, an international fitness franchisor known for 24/7 convenience, promoted Andi Ruth-Negrini to vice president of franchise development. In this position, Ruth-Negrini will help continue the brand’s expansion across North America. She brings more than a decade of franchising experience to the role. Previously, she served as director of North American franchising.

“I’m looking forward to helping people create positive lifestyle habits by developing more easily accessible Snap Fitness locations. Snap Fitness recently rolled out a new club design that expands our average club footprint. I believe both our owners and our members will love the updated larger model,” Ruth-Negrini said.

Coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ruth-Negrini knew that Snap Fitness was ideally situated for growth. “As it looks to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, Snap Fitness is a mature brand that is not at risk of some of the start-up pitfalls and hiccups; it is also fresh and agile enough to make things happen.”

To Ruth-Negrini, Snap Fitness will stay ahead of the curve with its new app. “Our purpose is to create happy and healthy lifestyles for members, franchisees, and team members. With our Snap App, this goes beyond just the walls of the gym – something that is and will continue to be vital in the future of both fitness and franchising.”

The Snap Fitness leadership team is thrilled to have Ruth-Negrini take on this role. “Andi is an exceptionally-talented individual and we’re thrilled to have her on our team in a new role that continues to support growth. With our franchise development team as strong as ever, we’re ready to take Snap Fitness to heights,” said Ty Menzies, the global CEO of Snap Fitness.

A Franchise Veteran’s Journey

Ruth-Negrini’s start in franchising was unintentional. “I took on an administrative level role to pay for college. At one time, I aspired to be a lawyer, but I’m happy to say those aspirations never transpired. I was fortunate to have several wonderful mentors who encouraged my love for business and franchising; they also helped me hone the skills needed to progress and succeed.” Prior to joining Snap Fitness, Ruth-Negrini held positions with Miracle-Ear and Amplifon, leaders in the hearing care industry.

She urges prospective candidates to “be open-minded and willing to surround yourself with seasoned professionals. The beauty of franchising is you don’t have to go it alone!”

Ruth-Negrini believes that communication is key in franchising. “At Snap Fitness, we strive to arm our franchisees with essential resources needed to help them deliver a standout member experience that is consistent.”
