Porter Brings Executive Leadership Experience and a Passion for Senior Care to the Role
Executive Home Care, a non-medical in-home senior care provider, promoted Kevin Porter to president. In this new position, Porter will oversee the strategic direction and drive key initiatives in day-to-day operations. He previously served as senior vice president of franchise operations.
As president, Porter looks forward to seeing the company grow. “We have a spectacular pipeline of new franchisees looking to join the network, and it is exciting to see the level of interest we are generating in the industry.” He is eager to work with entrepreneurs and support them in their efforts to provide care to clients and their families.
Porter was initially attracted to the company for its growth potential. “I was excited to join a team on the cusp of expanding and making a significant impact in the homecare industry.” The opportunity to bring resources to a franchise system was also important in his decision-making process. He saw the potential to help franchisees grow and succeed and couldn’t pass up the opportunity when it arose.

Tim Hadley, CEO of Executive Home Care Holdings, is thrilled to have Porter in this new role. “His passion for delivering exceptional care, combined with his extensive experience helping franchisees grow and succeed, make him the perfect candidate to lead our brand as we continue to expand,” he said. “We are confident that under his leadership, Executive Home Care will continue to provide top-quality care and service excellence to clients and families across the country.”
Porter has been proud to witness the positive changes that the company has made, including implementing technology resources that have helped with day-to-day operations and recruitment efforts. “This has allowed us to streamline our processes and provide better support to our franchisees, caregivers, and clients.”
Porter and Senior Care
Porter started in franchising as a regional director for an international homecare agency supporting locations in the Northeast and Midwest states. During that time, he witnessed the positive impact of franchising firsthand. “It was incredibly rewarding to see the ripple effect that successful businesses can have, and that’s what drew me to franchising.”
Porter’s inspiration for getting into the healthcare field started with his work in hospice care. While the experience was fulfilling, he recognized that many seniors could benefit from quality homecare services before they reached the hospice stage. “This realization drew me towards the senior care industry, where I could help improve the overall quality of life for seniors and their families.” Making a difference in people’s lives inspired him to continue working in healthcare.
Porter understands the importance of senior care services. Since more and more Americans are living over 65, he believes that homecare organizations will likely continue to see demand. “One trend we see in the industry is integrating technology with the personal and companionship care offered by home care organizations. Our senior population is more accepting of the use of technology, and this has led to many solutions that were not available 15-20 years ago.”
He noted that there has been an increase in the use of telemedicine, remote monitoring, and wearable devices that can provide real-time data to caregivers and healthcare providers. “These technological advancements have not only improved the quality of care provided to seniors but have also made it possible for them to age in place and maintain their independence.”
Buying a Franchise
Porter believes that aspiring franchisees should do their research before buying a franchise. “It’s important to not only thoroughly investigate the franchise brand, but also to take a close look at the team leading the organization. Those looking to buy a franchise should feel 100% confident in the individuals who are at the helm of the franchise.” Porter understands that owning a franchise requires hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn and grow, so he urges entrepreneurs to have a clear picture of their goals and objectives.
