The Dripbar Debuts First Franchise Location in Atlanta

A Rhode Island-based franchise focused on administering IV infusions designed to help maximize physical and mental health is opening its first franchise location in Atlanta in early December. The opening comes during a time when more people are looking to be more proactive about their health and are turning their attention to alternative health solutions.

The location will be owned and operated by Dr. Cedrick Spears, who is no stranger to the business of franchising.

“I was the youngest person in the U.S. to open a state-licensed and state-funded home care agency in Clarksville, Tennessee and then I expanded it to Texas in 2016 and later Atlanta, so I know what it means to build a business from the ground up,” said Dr. Spears. “But, to be a well-rounded businessman and be able to coach and mentor others, I need to be both a franchisor and franchisee.”

Before spending the past 14 years owning, operating and expanding his home care agency to currently serve around 200 patients, Dr. Spears earned his doctorate in business and served four years of active duty in the U.S. Airforce and four years in the Airforce National Guard. In fact, he opened his second home care agency location in Killeen, Texas near Fort Hood in order to provide a job opportunity for Veterans.

“I have a passion for helping people, which is why I opened my home care agency to help take care of the elderly and help those who took care of us,” said Dr. Spears. “After doing my due diligence when looking at different franchises, I landed on THE DRIPBaR because it aligned with my values of helping.”

A cash-based business, THE DRIPBaR provides 18 IV Lifestyle or Health Support drips, including the Jet Setter, Time Machine, Restoration, Flu Fighter and High C. For those who don’t have time for a full IV vitamin infusion but are looking for the benefit, THE DRIPBaR can give your body a boost in just five minutes with one of its seven IM Quick Shots. The IV vitamin support drips can help with conditions ranging from the common cold, to headaches, fibromyalgia or to slow the signs of aging.

“We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to open our first franchise location,” said Shannon Petteruti, CEO of THE DRIPBaR. “Dr. Spears is the perfect franchisee to start our expansion efforts and we are confident Atlanta will be the perfect city to introduce our services.”

As the first franchisee for THE DRIPBaR, Dr. Spears is looking to set the standard for a dozen locations that are slated to open in early 2021. He also hopes to expand THE DRIPBaR with more locations in Georgia and Tennessee.
