Joining the family business was never part of Adam Cahill’s (above) career plan. However, when recessionary cutbacks threatened the stability of his high school teaching job, he called his dad with an idea. “I wanted to take control of my own destiny and not leave it in the hands of someone else,” he says.

Adam saw an opportunity to bring SUPPLY POINTe — the then 9-year-old Cincinnati-based logistics business started by his father, Matt Cahill — to his Charlotte, N.C. area. Although Charlotte presented a different market and set of challenges, Adam was eager to test the business model in a new environment. With determination and guidance from his father, Adam built his own empire. “I let nothing get in my way of being successful and building the Charlotte location. I went from living on a teacher’s salary to having unlimited earning potential and it was a game changer.”

That was back in 2011. Today, Adam’s vision has not only changed his career path but has positioned SUPPLY POINTe to be a major player in its industry. As Adam became successful in his Charlotte location, he and his father had an epiphany. “We realized we could do this on a national level,” Adam says. So, the men got to work developing a training program and bringing in top talent to build a one-of-a-kind franchise opportunity. “We franchised because it changed our lives and we wanted to empower others to do it, too.”

The SUPPLYPOINTe Franchise Opportunity

Over time, the Cahills perfected the SUPPLY POINTe model and officially moved to franchising in 2018. Now, with 13 locations operating and more on the way, the Cahills are excited to expand SUPPLY POINTe across the country with the right franchise partners. “We are looking for empire builders who are customer focused. People buy from people they like and trust,” says Matt. “If you want to help people, manage a team and build camaraderie, we built a system that works.”

Adam knows firsthand that franchisees who are driven to make the business successful will reap the greatest rewards. The model is designed to be flexible, allowing franchisees to manage operations remotely, which can include overseeing processes while attending personal events, such as their children’s sports games. “The franchisees we have been bringing in love the flexibility. Now they can build a business and live the kind of lifestyle they want,” he says. Adam believes that there is no limit to growing this business. “We offer a rare opportunity to build life-changing wealth.”

Tapping into the Logistics Industry

SUPPLY POINTe specializes in serving the logistics needs of industrial America. The company provides critical services including sourcing and supplying pallets and corrugated boxes, managing freight logistics, and ensuring efficient transport of goods across different locations. The business model taps into a vendor network that facilitates these essential services, ensuring that products are packaged, palletized and transported efficiently.

Franchise owners build relationships with decision-makers in industrial America. Potential customers might be operations managers or purchasing agents in chemical, paper, steel, plastics and other businesses that use pallets and need shipping services. “Manufacturing and distribution has been around for ages and will keep growing. It’s a bullet-proof industry,” says Matt.

A Bright Future

Matt loves working with his son and has no plans for retirement in the near future. “I have always found this business fun and exciting and still do,” he says. As for Adam, he is just getting started. “We are on the cusp of something really special. I never imagined when I launched my location in Charlotte that we would get to this day. We are getting ready to fill the map with driven franchisees who want to build their own empires,” he says.
