The Former Goddard School CFO Has Two Decades of Experience in Early Education

Bob Scopinich brings 30 years of financial experience to his new position as chief financial officer for Celebree School. The early childhood education franchise offers infant and toddler care, preschool education, before- and after-school care, and summer camp programs.

Scopinich said the job switch occurred after a mutual contact connected him with Allan Greenberg, CFO of Celebree School’s parent company, Huffman Family Brands. “Allan was looking to spend more time with the Huffman Family office and oversee all financial aspects of the multiple business as the CFO,” Scopinich said. “This created the opportunity for me to join and focus on the franchise business and corporate schools. Celebree is focused on providing exceptional support to our franchisees to support their success, and this is in perfect alignment with my goals and views of franchising.”

Richard Huffman, founder and CEO of Celebree School and Huffman Family Brands, sees Scopinich as an exceptional hire. “He will play a critical role in ensuring our expansion is both responsible and sustainable, helping us not only navigate the challenges of growth but also prepare for the future. We are confident that his expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our franchisees and the continued success of our brand,” Huffman said.

The Early Education Field

Scopinich, who previously served as CFO for The Goddard School, Huntington Learning Center and Launch Entertainment, finds the early education field exciting because of its impact on families. “For parents, there is nothing more important than their child’s experience and providing them a safe and fun environment to learn and develop essential life skills. I take great pride in having a hand in providing them with that resource.

“We consistently are spending our time improving the experience for our students and their families while also helping our franchisees achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.” When Celebree delivers a superlative customer experience to parents and kids, “they remain with the brand and refer their friends and family. All of that contributes to a wonderful community at the school level, and once that’s achieved, the financial results follow” for franchisees.
