Wall Praises the Senior Care Concept’s Strong Reputation and Mission

BrightStar Care, a home care, skilled care and medical staffing services provider, has named Josh Wall chief executive officer. Wall aims to foster the brand’s growth by expanding strategic healthcare partnerships and investing in innovation and technology. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience with franchises, including Unleashed Brands and Christian Brothers Automotive.

Wall said he was long aware of BrightStar Care’s reputation for putting franchisees first and building a people-first culture, and he strongly believes in the senior care franchise’s mission to provide families with quality healthcare services.

“We brought caregivers into our home to help care for my father during his cancer battle and support my mother, and they truly became an extension of our family,” Wall said. “That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the important work being done across the senior care industry. When the opportunity to lead BrightStar Care came about, it felt like a chance to combine my passion for franchising with a mission that genuinely matters. I look forward to listening and learning by spending time with franchise owners, caregivers, nurses and our support center team to understand what’s working well and where we can continue to improve.”

Wall said BrightStar’s parent company, Peak Rock Capital, provides an important foundation for the brand’s future growth. “They bring significant operational expertise, resources and experience helping businesses to scale strategically,” he said. “What excites me is the alignment around long-term value creation. Peak Rock understands that sustainable growth comes from investing in people, supporting franchise owners, strengthening operations and maintaining the high standards that have made BrightStar Care successful.”

Spencer Moore, BrightStar Care board member, praised Wall’s franchise expertise, strategic vision and leadership skills. “His passion for supporting franchisees, developing people and building scalable organizations aligns perfectly with BrightStar Care’s mission and long-term growth strategy. We are excited to welcome Josh and look forward to the future under his leadership,” Moore said.

Wall said developing trust as a servant leader is essential. “I’ve learned throughout my career that trust isn’t given, it’s earned. That applies to employees, franchise owners and business partners. My approach is to listen first, learn from the people closest to the work and then help create clarity, alignment and momentum. Ultimately, leadership is about serving people well, developing leaders, and creating an environment where individuals and teams can do their best work.”

In his downtime, Wall enjoys spending time with family, skiing, hiking and listening to live music.
