Demand for home services is steadily growing. Home improvements know no season, and when mortgage rates and property values rise, homeowners tend to invest in updates to improve comfort and functionality of their existing homes rather than moving. When they do buy a new home, improvement and repairs often are required as part of the transaction.

The growth and longevity of Home Franchise Concepts are a testament not only to the steady growth and demand for home services, but also its strategic focus on innovation, customer experience and franchisee support. Home Franchise Concepts promotes its culture which supports professional growth, flexibility, collaboration and the well-being of franchise partners and the communities they serve.

Since starting with a single brand in 1992, Home Franchise Concepts has become one of the largest home services franchisors, with over 2,600 franchised territories in North America. The company continually exceeds its annual growth goals, having sold 250 territories in 2024 and surpassing its sales targets for the first quarter of 2025.

‘Building Futures Together’

Home Franchise Concepts brands include AdvantaClean, Aussie Pet Mobile, Bath Tune-Up, Budget Blinds, Concrete Craft, Kitchen Tune-Up, Lightspeed Restoration, PremierGarage, The Tailored Closet and Two Maids. Many Home Franchise Concepts brands consistently are named among the top franchises in the industry by Franchise Business Review, Entrepreneur and Franchise Times, receiving recognition as top franchises for veterans, top low-cost franchises, top new and emerging franchises, top home-based franchises and fastest-growing franchises.

“The advantages that make Home Franchise Concepts brands some of the top home services franchises include our proven business models, our large network of successful franchisees and product alliance vendors, and a dedicated, longstanding and deeply experienced team at our home offices that provides our franchisees the support and tools for success,” says Corey Benish, Home Franchise Concepts president. “In addition to having more than 30 years in business, Home Franchise Concepts is also backed by the strength and support of our parent company, JM Family Enterprises, which has been in business for over 50 years and is ranked No. 16 on Forbes’ list of America’s Largest Private Companies with $22 billion in annual revenue.”

As part of a recent rebrand, Home Franchise Concepts adopted a new mantra and tagline, “Building Futures Together,” aimed not only at consumers and communities served by the franchisor, but franchise owners, as well. “Our new tagline, ‘Building Futures Together,’ highlights our company’s unique role in fostering financial independence and success for individuals and families. And our new logo incorporates heart and home icons, symbolizing the company’s dedication to the home services category and the people who drive its success, says Marci Kleinsasser, vice president of marketing, franchise development for Home Franchise Concepts. “To get to the core of the brand, we studied the competitive landscape, talked to our franchisees and looked inward. All our research pointed to the concept of heart and home because of the warmth, support and sense of belonging that our community experiences as a part of the Home Franchise Concepts family. Our new brand puts the real heroes front and center – our people – our associates, franchisees and their team members serving thousands of customers daily.”

Outlook for Home Services Franchises

Expenditures on improvements and maintenance of owner-occupied homes reached record levels during the pandemic, then dipped. But a recently released report by a Harvard University program projected that homeowners will increasingly spend more on upgrades and repairs through 2026. The Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity released by the Remodeling Futures Program at Harvard’s Joint Center for Housing Studies projects that year-over-year spending for home renovation and repair will increase by 2.5% to reach a record $526 billion by the first quarter of 2026.

“As housing rates rise and property values increase, homeowners are prioritizing investments in their living spaces. The home improvements industry is projected to surpass $600 billion by 2027. Whether it’s smart home technology or customized renovations, the demand for home services continues to climb,” Benish says. As an example, he cited a record number of proposals won in March by Home Franchise Concepts’ kitchen renovation franchise, Kitchen Tune-Up, which has more than 270 locations.
