Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner — and it’s turning fast-food restaurants across the country into full-blown fiestas! This annual celebration commemorates Mexico’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War in 1862, according to History.com. Over the years, the celebration has expanded far beyond Mexico’s borders. Every May 5, millions of Americans join the festivities by donning sombreros, eating tacos and quesadillas and sipping on margaritas.

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar
This Cinco de Mayo, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is offering its signature Bad Ass Margarita (a cocktail crafted with Margaritaville Gold Tequila and lime juice) for $4. The restaurant franchise is also launching the Birria Burger (above) – 7 oz. of black Angus beef, a seasoned corn tortilla, Monterey Jack cheese, birria-marinated pork, lime aioli, onions, cilantro all served on a brioche bun with consommé on the side – on Cinco de Mayo for only $13.50.
Bubbakoo’s Burritos
Bubbakoo’s Burritos is offering loyalty members a buy one, get one free deal on entrées on May 5. A coupon will automatically be delivered on May 6 to their loyalty account to redeem through May 11. In addition to the loyalty offering, all guests can use code CINCO10 to receive 10% off all catering orders.
Buffalo’s Cafe
Buffalo’s Cafe is getting into the spirit of Cinco de Mayo by serving its signature Canyonritas for just $5. This delectable cocktail features 1800 Tequila, triple sec, lime juice, sweet and sour and is garnished with a lime wedge.
California Tortilla
California Tortilla is turning Cinco de Mayo into a five-day event. From May 1-5, guests can score everything from free chips and queso to $5 off their meal, plus a free taco bounce-back coupon on Cinco de Mayo itself. Additionally, each visit tied to a Burrito Elito account automatically enters guests to win signed Ravens gear or free burritos for a year.
Chipotle
Chipotle is marking Cinco de Mayo with a new Roblox game, “Ingredient Quest.” The game is part of the Burrito Builder experience and allows players to earn Burrito Bucks and unlock a free entrée by collecting all 53 ingredient cards. From May 1-5, guests can also enjoy free delivery with the promo code DELIVER. Chips and Queso Blanco are free with promo code CINCO25 from May 3-5.
Chronic Tacos
Chronic Tacos, a California-inspired Mexican grill franchise, has an exclusive deal for Cinco de Mayo through its mobile app: Spend $20 and receive $5 off. This deal is available at participating locations.
Dillas Quesadillas
Dillas Quesadillas is serving up a party-worthy deal on Cinco de Mayo: $5 regular Plain-O’s, made with chicken or steak and melted cheese, and $5 gallons of freshly squeezed limeade. The deal is valid in-store only.
Dog Haus
Dog Haus is doubling the fun with double points for loyalty members on Cinco de Mayo. This deal is available on May 5 only.

This Cinco de Mayo, Hot Harry’s Fresh Burritos is continuing its annual tradition of giving out free T-shirts to the first 100 customers beginning at 11 a.m. And that’s not all – customers can register at participating locations for a chance to win a burrito a week for a year. Up to 10 winners will be selected per location, and participants are required to download the brand’s app to redeem their free burritos.
