Wescott’s Dual Roles Focus on the Umbrella Franchisor’s Growth and Finances

Jessica Wescott has taken on dual roles as the COO and CFO of Stellar Service Brands, an umbrella franchisor that includes commercial and residential service brands. Franchises under Stellar’s umbrella include bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, The Driveway Company, Softroc, and Restoration 1. Wescott will focus on the company’s growth and finances.

In a statement, Wescott said, “I am thrilled to join such an established organization and take on this new role. Stellar has already seen extensive growth in recent years, and I am excited to partner with the team and franchise network to build on their momentum and push the brands even further.”

Wescott believes that she is a good fit for the dual roles and looks forward to working with the company’s leadership team and franchisees. “Stellar Service Brands has built franchise networks based on strong opportunities, trust, and transparency. This combination makes each brand uniquely suited for continued growth with great partners. I’m excited to get to know the team and the franchise partners and to be part of their story,” Wescott said.

Stellar Service Brands will continue to positively impact the future of franchising, in Wescott’s view. “Stellar Service Brands exists to provide people the opportunity to realize their American dream, which lifts up their communities and their families. Our brands give franchisees a platform for good, honest work where they can be proud of the problems they solve and the people they serve,” Wescott said.

Stellar Service Brand’s leadership team is excited to have Wescott on board. “Jessica will be an integral part in driving continued growth and innovation for Stellar Service Brands. She brings extensive experience in the franchising world, and her track record of being a dynamic and caring leader makes her a great fit with our mission and values. I look forward to seeing how she brings her talents to her new role,” said Sherry Rose, CEO of Stellar Service Brands.

Wescott’s Franchising Experience

Wescott got her start in franchising in finance. “I started in the franchised restaurant space doing finance work and studying how guests responded to changes in real estate selection, marketing tactics, operational improvements, and training programs. We used the results to help inform and implement key strategic initiatives aimed at driving sales and improving profitability for our franchisees,” Wescott said. Her favorite part of the industry is the community that a franchise-based system creates. “I’ve been fortunate to partner with many incredible people over the years,” Wescott said.

Wescott believes that entrepreneurs should do their due diligence before going into the industry. “Spend the time doing your homework: research the industry, get to know the brand, current team, and franchise network. Also, make sure you are confident that you understand the financial opportunity and the work required to be successful,” Wescott said.

Before joining Stellar Service Brands, Wescott had leadership roles with food franchises, including Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and MOOYAH Burgers, Fries, and Shakes. Wescott graduated cum laude with a B.A. in economics from Austin College.
