Annual IFPG Retreat Also Earns High Praise in Entrepreneur’s Franchise Events Category
The International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG) has once again secured its spot as the No. 1 franchise broker organization on Entrepreneur’s prestigious Top Franchise Suppliers list, marking six consecutive years of this significant achievement. This recognition, featured in the September/October issue of Entrepreneur magazine and on Entrepreneur.com, highlights the essential role service providers play in franchising.
In addition to leading the broker category, IFPG earned accolades in the events category for its popular annual conference, the IFPG Retreat. “We couldn’t be more excited about this,” said IFPG CEO and Founder Don Daszkowski. “Our team puts tremendous effort into making the IFPG Retreat truly special and we’re always striving to make it better every year. The IFPG Retreat
The IFPG Retreat has become the organization’s flagship event, drawing hundreds of franchise professionals, including top consultants, franchisors, and vendors. Known for its high-quality content and fun atmosphere, the Retreat features a mix of educational sessions, networking opportunities, workshops, and presentations. “Our mission is to connect franchise professionals and help them build strong relationships. We excel at this, and that’s why we continually attract the best in the business,” said IFPG President Red Boswell. This year, the IFPG Retreat will take place on September 30 through October 2 at the Diplomat Hollywood Beach Resort in Hollywood, Fla.
A unique format sets the IFPG Retreat apart from other franchise conferences. “We focus on the details,” said Daszkowski. “For example, to maximize networking opportunities, we ensure our members sit with different people during their meals and speed networking sessions. Otherwise, people tend to stick with people they know. Of course, there’s also time to catch up with old friends, too. That’s one of the best parts. The Retreat is like a big family reunion,” he said.
Speed networking at the IFPG Retreat is a fast-paced event where franchise professionals meet and connect quickly. “It’s like speed dating but for business,” said Boswell. Participants have short, timed conversations with each other, allowing them to introduce themselves, share ideas and explore different opportunities. The goal is to make as many connections between franchisors and consultants as possible in a short amount of time, helping IFPG members learn more about the brands and identify ideal candidates for them. “It’s a high-energy, fun way to build business relationships and ultimately change lives for the better through franchise ownership,” said Boswell.
2024 Entrepreneur Top Franchise Suppliers
Entrepreneur’s Top Franchise Suppliers ranking is based on an extensive annual survey of franchisors, covering a wide spectrum from emerging brands to established industry leaders. This year, over 1,100 franchise brands participated, providing feedback on the suppliers they rely on and rating their satisfaction in areas such as quality, cost and value. The suppliers with the highest scores earned their place in the rankings.
“The suppliers on our list passed the most important test: recommendations from their clients,” says Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine. “Franchisors are eager to acknowledge the suppliers who genuinely make a difference in their businesses, and that insight benefits the entire industry.”
