Daklouche Will Continue Edible’s Growth Through Franchise Expansion
Ramzi Daklouche has been appointed to vice president of franchise sales of Edible, a retail and e-commerce provider. Edible is the largest franchisor of stores that offer fresh fruit arrangements. Daklouche will continue Edible’s growth through franchise and territory expansion.
In a statement, Daklouche said, “I’m honored to join Edible during such a promising time. Equipped with a strong business model, accomplished team, and innovative reputation, Edible has been continuing down a path of record-breaking growth. I’m thrilled to be a part of that momentum.” With his knowledge of maintaining operational excellence and international business development, Daklouche is “eager to support and add to Edible’s established pipeline and executive team.”
Daklouche was instantly drawn to the Edible brand. “Edible’s industry reputation, global footprint, commitment to innovation and record-breaking growth in recent years were major factors that attracted me to the brand. I’ve been following Edible for some time and have been consistently impressed with its ability to maintain its position as the world’s leading gifts and treats franchise,” Daklouche said.
Given its strong business model and proven systems, Daklouche sees “a ton of growth potential across the country and overseas. I’m looking forward to playing an active role in Edible’s continued success.”

Cheikh Mboup, president and COO of Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible, said, “We are excited to have Ramzi join our executive team and look forward to his leadership and experience as we continue our global brand expansion. His understanding of international markets will ensure that we are onboarding great operators who will continue to exemplify the brand, our core values and product quality that has been the hallmark of Edible Arrangements since its founding.”
Daklouche’s Business Development Experience
Daklouche has been in business development most of his career but entered the franchise industry a few years ago. ”Starting within the thriving restaurant space, I led the charge for expansion as the chief growth officer at Pieology Pizzeria. Prior to this, I spent many years working with companies on strategic business development both globally and domestically. I’ve always had a passion for business growth, and when I transitioned into franchising, I found helping entrepreneurs find their dream as business owners extremely rewarding,” Daklouche said.
Daklouche believes that “the industry is filled with like-minded individuals who I have enjoyed building relationships with over the years.”
For entrepreneurs looking to make the leap into franchising, Daklouche advises never settling. “When selecting the business that is right for you, entrepreneurs who choose franchising have the advantage of a proven brand and system behind them. My advice to new franchisees is to never settle. Fostering new relationships with other franchisees or industry executives, pursuing various avenues for community involvement, or continuously seeking to diversify your portfolio will only enhance your experience in the industry and catapult your potential for success,” he said.
