BizCom Associates Names Monica Feid New COO

Feid Will Oversee the Daily Operations of the Agency and Its Operating Divisions

Monica Feid has been named the chief operating officer (COO) of BizCom Associates, a public relations and marketing communications firm based in Dallas-Fort Worth. With this new role, Feid will oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm and its operating divisions. Feid is one of the three co-founders of BizCom Associates. She also became BizComPR’s president in 2017 and served as BizCom’s vice president since the agency’s inception in 1999.

“Accepting the role of COO at BizCom is an exciting opportunity for myself and BizCom as we continue to go ‘Beyond PR.’ Our team is full of highly-talented people. As a team, BizCom provides an all-inclusive PR experience for our clients,” Feid said in a statement.

“Monica is the heart and soul of BizCom. Her energy, creativity and ability to inspire our team members across the country is a major reason for our continued growth and success. Her guidance for our growing team will be critical as we continue to expand our portfolio of world-class clients,” said Scott White, the firm’s co-founder and CEO.

What’s Next for BizCom Associates?

Feid is enthusiastic about the future of BizCom Associates. “I’m a huge believer in the idea that all ships rise together, and we have amassed an incredible team at BizCom to collectively grow our success. Our agency more than doubled in size and increased billings more than 65% last year,” she said. And she believes that the firm’s success will continue. This is “evident already in the kind of integrated strategic campaigns we deliver to clients today. It includes social media management and content creation, public relations, book publishing, thought leadership, creative design services, event planning and more,” she said.

A Journey in Franchising

Feid got her start in franchising when she rose the ranks to become the director of marketing at Baylor University’s Office of PR and Communications. “Having worked with outside PR agencies in that job and at an earlier job in New York City, I was intent on working for a PR agency in Dallas. Things always looked so exciting on the other side and the many clients they served,” Feid said.

That’s when she landed a role with Hadeler White Public Relations. Her first client assignment was for The Dwyer Group, which is now known as Neighborly. “I knew nothing about franchising, but I quickly learned from the best by being invited to their headquarters back in Waco and attending new franchise owner training across their growing roster of home service brands,” she said.

At the time, Hadeler White Public Relations assisted the International Franchise Association (IFA) with media relations at national expos, such as Franchise Expo West and Franchise Expo South. “I was immersed in franchising from the start thanks to the world’s largest advocacy group for the franchising industry. It has been my privilege and honor to work with franchisors, franchisees and the IFA ever since,” Feid said.
