Oliver Brings Leadership and Business Ownership Experience to the Position

i9 Sports, a youth multi-sport concept, has named Jeremy Oliver vice president of operations. He brings extensive leadership experience to the position, previously driving growth for Perspire Sauna Studio, F45 Training and Orangetheory Fitness. As a former business owner, he also has a firsthand understanding of the day-to-day realities of entrepreneurship.

“i9 Sports has a strong reputation and a clear mission, which immediately stood out,” Oliver said. “It is not just about running leagues; it is about helping kids succeed in life through sports. The opportunity to bring my background in high-growth systems into a brand with that kind of purpose made it an easy decision. There is a great foundation here, and with the right systems and support, we can make it even easier for area developers to succeed and grow.”

Oliver noted that the wellness space is expanding as people prioritize their health, connection and overall well-being — and youth sports play a significant role in that. “i9 Sports has an opportunity to lead by continuing to focus on fun, safety and confidence-building, which are just as important as competition.”

In the brand’s push to foster national expansion, i9 Sports also has added Ron Shimek as president.

Rob Price, CEO of i9 Sports’ parent company, Youth Enrichment Brands, said the brand is in good hands under the leadership of Oliver and Shimek. “Ron and Jeremy both bring a deep understanding of what it takes to support franchisees and create great experiences for families,” Price said. “As we grow, we’re focused on staying true to our purpose while continuing to expand access to programs that help kids build confidence and connection.”

Stronger Franchise Operations

Oliver said simplicity, consistency and accountability are key to building strong franchise operations. “Franchisors need to focus on supporting their operators. When the area developers are set up for success, growth follows. That means a focus on unit-level performance rather than just top-line expansion.”

Oliver lives in Texas with his family. When he’s off the clock, Oliver enjoys traveling, reading and spending time outdoors.
