The Team Offers Strategic Support From Launch to Long-Term Growth
Franchising is a big step for a business, and that’s why FranGrowth walks the walk with its partners. The company doesn’t just help brands sell franchises — it becomes equity partners in every company it works with, sharing in both the risks and rewards. “We are board advisors in every single one of our brands,” says Dan Glaser, founder and president of FranGrowth. “We sit on the board of each brand so we’re not just selling franchises — we’re making sure they actually launch, grow and thrive.”
Founded in 2022, FranGrowth has quickly made a name for itself by focusing on emerging service-based franchises. The company works with businesses that have strong foundations but need guidance to scale. “It doesn’t scare me if you have zero franchises,” Glaser says. “What matters is the strength of the brand and the franchisor’s passion.”
FranGrowth’s success stories speak volumes. Home Smiles, one of its first brands, had only a few franchisees when FranGrowth stepped in. In just two and a half years, FranGrowth has helped award over 130 territories. Another brand, Set the Stage, grew from four franchises to nearly 90 in the same time frame. “We help brands grow fast, but we do it the right way,” Glaser explains.
Service Focus
FranGrowth specializes in home services and avoids brick-and-mortar businesses. “We focus on low-to-mid investment, quick-to-break-even, fast-cash-flow businesses with low overhead,” Glaser says. For example, Hudson Valley Swim operates using a rental model instead of requiring franchisees to build expensive pool facilities.
Glaser’s experience runs deep. He spent 16 years at Neighborly Brands growing the home services umbrella from six to more than 30 brands. But while he respects established franchises, he loves working with emerging brands. “I love founders who are the heartbeat of their brand,” he says. “Some of these entrepreneurs have spent over a decade building their business and now they’re trusting us to take it nationwide. That’s what excites me.”
For franchise consultants, FranGrowth offers reliability and transparency. “We know how much effort consultants put into getting candidates ready to talk to a franchisor,” Glaser says. “When they trust us with a referral, we take that seriously. We treat those candidates like gold and communicate at every step.”
In for the Long Haul
FranGrowth also helps brands attract multi-unit franchisees. Across all their brands they average two-and-a-half to three territories per candidate. “When consultants have a strong candidate for a service-based franchise, we want them to think of FranGrowth,” Glaser says. “That’s our sweet spot.”
Beyond selling franchises, FranGrowth helps brands plan for the future. “Most of our brands aim for an eventual exit,” Glaser explains. “We help them position for that, whether it’s in three to five years when they hit the right financial targets or further down the road. We guide them through private equity opportunities and help find the right partners.”
The company’s rapid rise has been fueled by reputation and word-of-mouth. “We haven’t gone out aggressively seeking brands,” Glaser says. “They’ve found us. Founders hear about the work we do and want to be part of it. That organic growth has been incredible.”
At its core, FranGrowth values trust and integrity. “Our goal isn’t to be the biggest,” Glaser says. “It’s to be the most trusted franchise development organization. In franchising, reputation is everything.”
