June 28, 2012 - DENTON, TX, June 28, 2012; Cowboy Chicken, the popular Dallas-based fast casual wood-fired rotisserie chicken brand, announced their newest and seventh location at 2520 West University Drive in Rayzor Ranch in Denton, Texas will be opening in early August. The new Cowboy Chicken will employ approximately 20 team members from the local community.

The new 2800 square foot Cowboy Chicken in Denton is the third franchised location for Vesta Restaurant Group who plans to open 10 Cowboy Chicken restaurants in the DFW area over the next few years. The Denton location will feature the same famous wood-fired Cowboy Chicken they have become known for, perfected on a custom-built rotisserie stacked with hickory wood to deliver their unique, wood fire flavor. The comfortable dine-in environment is available for lunch and dinner, and take-out, home delivery and catering services will be offered. The restaurant will be open daily from 11:00 am – 9:00 pm.

Cowboy Chicken has been cooking all natural chicken over a wood-burning fire since 1981, and today they serve the same delicious wood-fired rotisserie chicken along with seventeen different fresh homemade sides. For over 30 years, these “downhome Cowboys” have perfected the taste of chicken on a rotisserie and created the now famous Twice-Baked "Potaters", Creamy Coleslaw and Barbecue Beans. Other favorites at Cowboy Chicken are the famous Chicken Enchiladas stuffed full of delicious rotisserie chicken and, used to create their amazing Chicken salad sandwiches. Homemade Peach Cobbler finishes off any Cowboy meal and, both their award-winning Chicken Enchiladas and homemade Peach Cobbler have been on the menu since Cowboy's inception, thirty years ago.

The new Denton Cowboy Chicken will also feature healthy and delicious fresh salads, grilled skinless chicken breast and nutritious sides such as seasonal fruit, Steamed Butternut Squash, Green Beans, and Campfire Veggies.
