November 22, 2010 - HILLSBORO, Texas – Employees at the Hillsboro ColorTyme store are doing their part to spread cheer to those in need this holiday season. Continuing yearly traditions, ColorTyme will collect turkeys for charity and support a local event for kids.

To give thanks to customers and feed the hungry during the holidays, ColorTyme is hosting “Turkey for Two”. This promotion encourages new and existing customers to bring a turkey (12 pounds or larger) to the store and, in return, receive two weeks free on a new rental item. The store will then donate each turkey to Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries.

“Our ‘Turkey for Two’ is going on until November 24, so there’s still time to celebrate the holidays by giving and receiving,” said Shanna Cadena, ColorTyme district manager. “Every year, we are happy to see more people come in to donate. It really shows how much this community cares and is willing to share joy with others.“

ColorTyme is also proud to yet again be a part of “Photos with Santa” at the Outlets at Hillsboro. Held on weekends Nov. 26 through Dec. 19 at 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., this event features complimentary cookies and activities for kids including meeting and writing letters to Santa, and a special breakfast event called “Pancakes with Santa”. ColorTyme has donated a 65” DLP TV, stand and Blu-ray player so children can watch Christmas movies while they wait in line.
