April 17, 2009 - ATLANTA – Meat lovers across the U.S. are licking their chops in anticipation of Steak-Out Char-Broiled Delivery’s newest limited time menu item – “The Ribasaurus”, a 22 oz. Bone-In Ribeye Steak. Beginning April 20, the promotion will run for ten weeks in select markets.

As mighty as the name implies, the Ribasaurus ribeye weighs 22 ounces and is cut with the bone intact and is by far the largest steak on the menu. The meal comes complete with a steaming baked potato with Steak-Out buttery spread and sour cream, a freshly tossed salad, and a dinner roll. In honor of this mega steak, the company is giving customers a free steak knife with the purchase of every Ribasaurus. Customers also have the option of adding a shrimp, scallop or chicken dinner to their order for only $10, making this an affordable dinner option for two.

Based on sales success in select test markets, the 22 ounce bone-in steak will be rolled out to the entire system and become a permanent menu fixture.

“We don’t believe value needs to be defined by a $10.00 price point, but by the offering relative to the price point” said Peter Petrosian, COO of Steak-Out. “With this in mind and by listening and watching what our consumers purchase from us, we have created an affordable 22 oz Bone-in Ribeye special called The Ribasaurus – a steak so big we are giving our customers a real steak knife to eat it.”
