March 21, 2009 - HOLLAND, Mich - Signs Now franchise owners Tim Weber and Leslie Louisell are nationally-known and recognized for their expertise in the healthcare wayfinding field. But, the company, located at 832 Productions Place in Holland, Mich., is beginning to branch out to other industries with visual needs similar to that of a hospital or healthcare facility. Most recently, Signs Now Holland has been hired to design and implement wayfinding systems by several companies specializing in the boutique hotel industry, and they are beginning to see an increase in these types of projects.

Most recently, Signs Now produced and installed the interior signage for the Holland, Michigan-based CityFlats Hotel prior to its opening. The 56-room boutique hotel offers uniquely designed rooms containing environmentally friendly custom décor. The extensive signage needed for CityFlats included wayfinding, directories, room identification, stairs and evacuation signage.

“Wayfinding is accomplished by providing signage information at key decision points, from identification of the building site to the user’s specific final destination,” explained Leslie Louisell. “In the case of CityFlats and many other facilities, signage will affect the way a destination is perceived and can have a significant impact on the corporate image.”

Over the last several years, Signs Now Holland has worked on several other boutique hotels throughout the country, including the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, Ill. and the The Equus, an Aqua Boutique hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.
