March 5, 2009 - Scott Snoyer, owner of the FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center in Antioch, was awarded the franchise network’s most important recognition, the FASTSIGNS Award, at the 2009 FASTSIGNS convention. The award goes to the center owner who represents the concept and the spirit of the FASTSIGNS name, both in the business community and in the FASTSIGNS network. Past recipients exemplify everything it takes to be a successful owner, including integrity, determination, loyalty and motivation.
“Within our network, Scott Snoyer’s name is synonymous with great sales, but what many may not realize is his willingness to help his fellow franchisees and give back to the network,” said Larry Lane, FASTSIGNS president, in presenting the award. “Whether it is people, equipment or facilities, Scott recognizes the need for quality investment. He sets quite a remarkable example for all of us to follow.” “It is an honor to be recognized with the FASTSIGNS Award, and I commend my incredible staff for their efforts which have also been recognized with our additional sales achievements awards,” said Snoyer, who opened his FASTSIGNS center in 1994. “We wouldn’t be where we are today without the unyielding hard work and dedication of our staff. These recognitions are a testimonial to the power of my team and their ability to deliver consistent great service to our customers. And I have to say a special thank you to my wife Debbie for her unyielding support and encouragement to me and the staff over the past 15 years we’ve been in business.” Snoyer is very active within the FASTSIGNS franchise system to help better operations and services to its franchisees. He serves on the Franchise Advisory and Technology Advisory Committees, invites fellow franchisees to visit his center, and coaches and counsels individual franchisees on how to best run their businesses. Year after year, his center continues to be recognized for impressive sales within the FASTSIGNS system. But beyond numbers, Snoyer truly cares about the future and direction of his center and the FASTSIGNS network as a whole Described by his peers as a risk taker when it comes to embracing technology, Snoyer’s center often leads the way in terms of investing in these technologies for others in the network. Referred to as the most impressive facility within the network, his center is an ideal beta test setting—one that he willingly offers to others as a learning environment. In addition, to receiving the FASTSIGNS Award, Snoyer’s center was also honored with the following achievements: • Recognition for achieving more than $2 million in total sales from Oct. 1, 2007-Sept.30, 2008—one of only three centers worldwide to achieve this sales level. • For the third consecutive year, the center was named the top FASTSIGNS center in the entire Southeast region with the highest total sales. • Manager Rob Cowles was recognized for his level of responsibility, leadership, team development and overall accountability for profitable store operation. • Inside Sales Representative Andie Applegate was recognized for her individual sales achievements and contributions to her center.
