December 21, 2008 - Alan Wilkinson, one of their Franchise Development Consultants, has gone back to the class room and helped produce a lesson plan in Franchising for GCSE students. Working with Alison Cooke of Castle Hall School, West Yorkshire, Alan presented the lesson to the Year 10 children as part of their Business Studies learning.
Miss Cooke commented that: “Franchising comprises just a small part of the curriculum, and is usually covered off in just one lesson.” She added: “It is great for the kids to have a professional come in and talk to the children in depth about franchising. They will certainly remember this better now.” The head teacher Andy Pugh added: “This is a fantastic idea, and should be applauded.”
Alan has over 10 years’ experience in franchising, having worked as both franchisor and franchisee.
