October 11, 2008 - NiteLites Outdoor Lighting of Charleston is honored to be a part of the Charleston Garden Festival by supplying the lighting design and installation for the Remark Studio exhibit. The Charleston Garden Festival is scheduled for October 17th through 19th at Middleton Place. Hours for the Festival are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM each day. Admission to the festival is $ 15.00 in advance for adults ($ 20.00 at the gate); $ 5.00 for children ages 6 – 15; children 5 and younger are admitted free of charge. Remark Studio is a local landscape architecture firm established in 2007 by husband and wife team J. R. and Holly Kramer. Their focus is on quality design and client service with an emphasis on sustainable practices. Their goal is to practice in a fashion that preserves the beauty and natural systems of the land as much as possible. The theme of their exhibit is “metamorphosis” – guided by the idea of metamorphosis of a structured modern garden into a wild dune landscape. When visiting the Remark Studio exhibit, notice how the subtle, low voltage lighting provided by NiteLites intensifies the textures and accentuates the colors of the plants and flowers.
