September 4, 2008 - (BURLINGTON, Vt.) – Bruegger’s Enterprises, Inc. announced a new development agreement with business partners Joe Ritzler and Mike Paglia and their company Buckeye Bagels, LLC to open eight new bakeries in Columbus, Ohio beginning in late 2008. This development agreement brings the total number of bakery commitments in the greater Columbus area to 11.

“My partner and I were attracted to Bruegger's primarily because of the strong brand recognition, but also because of the variety of fresh-made products and the company's strong partnership and commitment with franchisees," said Ritzler.
