May 16, 2008 - Alexandria, Va — Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries, a Maryland based fast casual concept serving made to order burgers and fries, opened its first mall location in Strousburg, PA., May 9. The new Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries is in the food court pavilion of the Stroud Mall, located at 454 Stroud Mall, Strousburg, PA 18360.

“The Strousburg location has had a very successful opening thus far,” says Dave DiFerdinando, company President and CEO. “Customers are really avid about our fresh made-to-order food and inexpensive prices.”

This is Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries first venture into Pennsylvania. There are four additional restaurants located in Maryland and Virginia.

Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries brings the boardwalk experience to life, providing customers with made to order burgers and fries in a fun, beach themed atmosphere. Already five stores strong, the concept is growing rapidly with over 50 stores already in development nationwide. Boardwalk restaurants average 2,000 square feet plus patio space and seat 25 to 60 people.
