May 10, 2007 - Lake City, FL – Ellianos Coffee Company became the largest single tree donor in the National Arbor Day Tree Giveaway in Lake City, FL on April 27, 2007 at 10am, by donating 500 3-gallon and 500 1-gallon Dogwood Trees. Stewart and President of Ellianos Coffee Company, Mick Rynning, were present to donate the trees on Thursday, April 26th at the Memorial Stadium in Lake City.
“We always enjoy giving back to the community, and donating the beautiful Dogwood trees allows Ellianos to help beautify the city,” says founder Scott Stewart. Mr. Stewart attended Lake City’s County Beautification Meeting on Tuesday, April 10, and announced his company’s participation with the donation of the Dogwood Trees. “Our mission at Ellianos is to thrill our customers by serving them premium quality coffee, espresso beverages, fruit smoothies, and more at convenient locations,” added President of Ellianos Coffee Company Mick Rynning. “We feel that donating the beautiful Dogwood trees will help to brighten people’s days, just as we try to do with our coffee and outstanding customer service.” Ellianos Coffee Company was founded in Lake City, FL in 2002 by entrepreneur and coffee lover Scott Stewart with the help of his wife Pam and their family. The company has grown to a franchise with 7 locations in North Florida and South Georgia, with another one set to open in May of 2007.
