February 22, 2007 - Howarth Franchising are expanding their Franchise Training Centre offering by teaming up with expert training company, Professional Excellence.

Professional Excellence is a franchise company itself, so understands the requirements for both franchisors and franchisees to consider sales development, staff management and leadership skills.

The Franchise Training Centre has 12 years of experience in offering training services to franchisors. Brian Duckett comments; ‘’ We have recognised over the last few years, after feedback from franchisors, that there has been a need for training to further develop both franchisors’ staff and franchisees’ sales and management skills. The Franchise Training Centre already offer 12 workshops specifically for those working in franchising, but we wanted to offer further topics to expand this range not only to franchisors’ staff, but also potentially to franchisees and their teams’’

Professional Excellence has, over the last 7 years, designed specialised training courses for the development of staff in sales and management roles. They are joining together with The Franchise Training Centre to work on 3 training programmes initially.

Paul Monaghan, director of The Franchise Training Centre, explained, ‘’the first course being run in March 2007 is one that many franchisors may find useful. ‘How to Get The Best Results from Franchise Exhibitions’ is timed just before the Franchise Show at Olympia, so people can ensure they maximise the opportunity of being at the event. Professional Excellence have trained many people in exhibition stand management, including a client who has staff dedicated to attending exhibitions around the world.’’

The other two training programmes which could be utilised by both franchisors and franchisees are Advanced Sales Development Systems (ASDS) & Advanced Management Development Systems (AMDS). Both courses utilise Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), to help both sales and management staff change their learnt behaviour patterns to achieve their and the organisations goals.
