Love is in the air at fast food franchises as Valentine’s Day approaches.Brands like Dunkin’ and Happy Joe’s are celebrating the most romantic day of the year with heart-shaped doughnuts and pizzas. Even White Castle is joining the fun, playfully embracing the idea of a fast-food date night by offering reservations for Feb. 14.
With an estimated $27.5 billion expected to be spent on Valentine’s Day this year, fast-food franchisors are seizing the opportunity to spread the love through creative and engaging marketing campaigns.

Applebee’s
Applebee’s is inviting guests to toast to love and friendship with its Valentine’s Day-inspired cocktails. The new $6 tipsy Cupid is vodka lemonade made with Smirnoff Vodka, triple sec, strawberry, premium lemon sour and lemonade garnished with gummi red lips. Passion on the Beach, which features Tito’s Handmade Vodka, peach schnapps, passion fruit, orange and cranberry juices, garnished with red gummi lips, is only $10.
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is sweetening the deal for Valentine’s Day by offering its decadent Red Velvet Cake Shake for just $5 — available exclusively on Feb. 14.
Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen
Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen is spreading the love the week of Valentine’s Day with its “Dinner for 2” special menu. This dine-in deal includes a choice of two starters, two entrées and a shareable dessert, starting at only $22.99.
Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A is bringing back its heart-shaped trays for Valentine’s Day. Through Feb. 22, customers can choose from the following offerings: 30-count Chick-fil-A nuggets, 10-count Chick-n-minis, 12 chocolate fudge brownie halves and six chocolate chunk cookies.
Dunkin’
Doughnut lovers, rejoice! Dunkin’ has brought back its popular Valentine’s Day doughnuts for a limited time. These seasonal treats include the Cupid’s choice doughnut and brownie batter doughnut.
Edible Arrangements
Nothing says Valentine’s Day quite like chocolate-covered fruit. Edible Arrangements is discounting items in its online Valentine’s Day collection by 15% with the code LOVE15. Customers can also score free next-day delivery on orders of $79 or more.

Starbucks is bringing back two Valentine’s Day-themed beverages and one sweet treat just in time for Feb. 14. The chocolate-covered strawberry frappuccino features a blend of ice, milk, strawberry puree and java chips. It’s layered on top of a splash of strawberry puree and is finished with whipped cream and mocha drizzle. The returning chocolate hazelnut cookie cold brew is sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with chocolate hazelnut cream cold foam and chocolate cookie crumbles.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse
From Feb. 10 – 16, guests can enjoy a shareable Tomahawk Trio for Two meal (above) that includes a 32 oz. Australian Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye, two North Atlantic Cold Water Lobster Tails and a bottle of Gruet Brut Sparkling Wine for only $199.
