Fast-food franchises offer imaginative ways to beat the heat, changing up their menus with fruity, invigorating drinks and craveable food items that leave customers satisfied but not stuffed.

Dutch Bros
Dutch Bros is going intergalactic with its new seasonal offerings. The Cosmic Cookie Dough features chocolate chip cookie dough and a swirl of chocolate complete with Soft Top and cookie dough pieces. It comes as a blended freeze, iced latte or cold brew with cream. Stardust is a burst of flavor with strawberry, watermelon and stardust crunch candy. This flavor comes in the brand’s iced or blended Rebel energy drink, iced lemonade and the new Myst Energy Refresher.
Dunkin’
The new summer menu at Dunkin’ has a little something for everyone. New lemonades and refreshers include the Suncloud Lemonade, Strawberry Suncloud Lemonade, Chocolate Covered Strawberry Iced Coffee and Strawberry Sparkling Limeade. Guests can also try the new Fluffernutter Cloud Latte, PB&J Cloud Latte, Fluffernutter Coffee Chiller and Ice Cream Cake Flavored Doughnut.

The customizable bowls and smoothies offered by everbowl now feature new flavor bases available through Sept. 23. These flavors include pineapple, passion fruit, guava and ube, a naturally sweet purple yam.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop’s new Beach Club menu is inspired by the flavors and nostalgia of a California summer. Highlights include the Cali-Style Steak Taco, Baja Fish Taco and Brisket Queso Fries.
Gong cha
The new Bobaccino lineup from Gong cha features three new frozen blended drinks with the brand’s signature boba tapioca pearls. These include the Brown Sugar Bobaccino, Coffee Caramel Bobaccino and Mocha Crunch Bobaccino.
Grain & Berry’s
Grain & Berry’s Cloud 9 menu features the Daydream Bowl and Head in the Clouds Smoothie. Both menu items are made with coconut cream, mango, pineapple and antioxidant-rich spirulina.
Haven Hot Chicken
Haven Hot Chicken is adding refreshing lime to new menu items offered through July. The Lime Cilantro Ranch Wrap Snack features a signature chicken tender split between warm tortillas and topped with house-made lime ranch and cilantro lime slaw. Key lime banana pudding, Diet Coke Lime and Lime Shake Fries will be on the menu starting July 20, and Lime Pepper Tendies with house lime ranch will be available starting July 27.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, a Florida-based dessert franchise, is encouraging guests to reach into the cookie jar this summer with its new limited-time campaign. The Cookie Jar lineup brings back three Italian ice flavors that were previously featured in the brand’s OREO-Palooza and Batter Up promotions — OREO Creme, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Brownie Batter. New flavors include the OREO Double Stuf variety, an OREO Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough combination, a Double Fudge Brownie option and a layered Smash-Up that combines all three with vanilla soft serve and cookie crumbles. These limited-time flavors are available through Sept. 30.
Juice It Up!
Juice It Up! is ushering in summer with new seasonal offerings included with its menu of smoothies, juices, açaí and superfruit bowls. These include the Coco Mango Bowl, Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava Smoothie, and the Delightful Blends lineup, available in mango lychee, strawberry guava and blueberry pomegranate varieties.
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Nothing Bundt Cakes is celebrating the warmer months by bringing back the fan-favorite lemon raspberry flavor and debuting the Turtle Cheesecake Swirl Pop-Up Bundtlet.
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery kicked summer off by introducing new Smashed Burgers, soda shop-inspired beverages and the bite-sized Key Lime Drop. The brand has also brought back seasonal favorites, including Key lime pie and Pancake Flips, which come in savory or sweet varieties.
Playa Bowls
Playa Bowls’ new summer menu features a buzz-worthy flavor: yuzu. Yuzu is a lemony, aromatic citrus fruit native to East Asia that’s naturally rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Customers can get a feel-good energy boost with the new Yuzu Ocean Bowl, Yuzu Coco Bowl and Yuzu Glow Smoothie.
Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard
Rita’s is offering some new takes on its Shirley Temple summertime favorite. The Shirley Temple Ice Gelati features layers of vanilla frozen custard and Shirley Temple Italian Ice finished with Shirley Sparkle. The Shirley Temple Ice Blender blends the Shirley Temple Italian Ice into a smooth, icy drink.

Starbird has a new lineup of wraps just for the summer. These include the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap, Green Goddess Cobb Wrap, Chicken Chop Wrap and Thai Chicken Wrap.

Whataburger has released two limited-time treats inspired by one of summer’s most beloved flavors: peach. The Peaches & Cream Shake blends peach and vanilla, and the Summer Peach Whatafresher is a refreshing beverage that is perfect for pool days and summer road trips.
