The Franchise Innovator Will Help Pave the Way for Fractional Hiring and AI Solutions in Franchising

Stay in Your Lane, a boutique franchise consulting company that provides fractional leadership solutions, AI training courses and project-based work, appointed Patti Rother president. With this role, Rother will help lead the company’s growth and innovation. Stay in Your Lane also recently announced Nick Pope as director of AI and Amanda Barker as creative director.

Rother’s franchising journey has involved wearing multiple hats – from operations, development, marketing and training to C-suite leadership positions. “Every role, every challenge faced has been a steppingstone to this moment. But beyond titles and roles, my heart has always been set on one thing: empowering others. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of offering my expertise informally – coaching, mentoring, and even just being the loudest cheerleader on the sidelines for those making bold moves. From shaping robust processes and procedures to brainstorming solutions to complex problems, my mission has always been to uplift others and steer them towards success,” Rother said. She looks forward to helping brands into their next phases of growth using her knowledge and experience.

Stay in Your Lane CEO Ingrid Schneider believes Rother is the right person for his position. “Patti is an unparalleled force in the franchising world, and we couldn’t be prouder to have even more of her time and dedication. Her passion for helping people find their path to business ownership is unmatched, and her contributions to our company and the franchise community have been invaluable.”

Fractional Hiring

Rother believes that fractional hiring is the future and allows emerging brands to bring on top-level talent at a lower cost. “Fractional hiring is starting to become a buzzword and something that more people are familiar with, but I really do feel like it makes so much sense for brands.” For individuals considering fractional teams, Rother urges them to keep an open mind and explore it as an option.

Consulting and fractional work is something Rother is passionate about personally, because it gives her the flexibility to be present for her wife and two daughters.
