Evive Brands Grows Presence in Home Services Market Through Acquisition

The Riverside Co., a global private investment firm, has acquired The Brothers that just do Gutters, a franchisor that handles gutter installation, replacement, maintenance and cleaning for residential and commercial customers. Brothers Gutters is an addition to the Evive Brands franchise portfolio that also includes Executive Home Care, Assisted Living Locators and Grasons, which manages estate sales.

“The acquisition of Brothers Gutters aligns with our strategy to extend Evive into the broader home services market,” Riverside Micro-Cap Fund Managing Partner Loren Schlachet stated in a news release about the transaction. This in turn “will allow Evive to address a larger segment of the U.S. residential population with a comprehensive suite of services to enhance people’s lives.”

The Global Rain Gutter Market size was estimated at $7.58 billion in 2022 and has been projected to reach $7.97 billion this year, according to a report from Yahoo Finance. That report estimated a compound annual growth rate of 5.21%, creating a market of $11.39 billion by 2030.

Riverside’s Investments

To date, Riverside has invested in more than 50 successful franchise companies and then works to nurture their growth. Riverside focuses its investments on the smaller portion of middle-market companies.

Brothers Gutters was an ideal fit for Riverside as a fast-expanding franchisor with more than 300 franchise territories. Its franchisees bring comprehensive gutter solutions to the owners of homes and commercial properties, going far beyond the installation and repair of rain gutters. Franchisees also install and maintain heated gutters, snow gutters and leaf guards, and they will repair damaged fascia boards and install underground gutter drainage.
